trezeguet to river plate

What do you think? Good or bad? Personally, although his argentine roots I've always been against foreigners playing in the big Argentine teams, and I think River Plate needs new defense not attack, hwoever it could be interesting...?

Because River is River regardless of the dividision and he wants to become part of the history of the club. Look at Juve fans, they appreciate the players that stuck with them after going to Serie B the most.

it 's the club he rooted for as a kid.

i dont think he can make any more of a difference than rivaldo did at são paulo this year, but i might be wrong. either way, with a good head, he might be able to inspire other players with his experience, lead by example. that might help. it will also bring more people to watch river.

That's hardly a problem. River has been beating records for attendance this year.
