Congrats OLpower, I wanted Lyon to go through, not Ajax French > dutch

Have to agree with the last few comments, They paid off Dinamo.
The group leaders really struggled in Zagreb and we only just came away with a win. I don't believe the argument that home side had nothing to play for, naturally you still go out there and do your best.

Look at Villareal last night they also had "nothing to play for" but for over an hour they really stuck it to Napoli before Inler top drawer ranger.

Dinamo were a proud side until last night, until halftime even.. I can't imagine what was said in that dressing room to them.

Would like to get CroInter's perspective on this as Dinamo is one of the teams he supports, he would be able to clarify.

Dinamo is in big shit ever since that 1st RM game where they played well and Real won bearly....

Dinamo had and still has problem in dressing room, we are by far best team in Croatia, we have like 10-20X better team and more money then rest and yet we strugle leatly.

Lyon have Gomis, Lisandro, Briand etc. Those guys are decent goal scorers, if the other team aren't really trying they'll be able to punish you.

I'm not saying there was 100% nothing wrong with this game but we haven't seen enough yet to think so.

Lyon's first and second are pretty much lucky ... but at the rest of the goals you can see how they didnt even run when they could and should of ... you know you don't just lose 1-7 at home even if you don't care youre putting yourself to shame before your own fans ....

If Gomis was allowed scored 4 score then, surely that's proof there was some sort of fixing going on.

Just pointing out that you wouldn't have to pay either Ajax or Real. You'd only have the pay Dynamo and the ref in the other match. He could then disallow any goal Ajax score.

Yes it is. People not wanting to admit that something amazing happened. And the checking is an usual process that happens everytime.

Actually yes, you are correct. An Ajax-Madrid draw would have sent Lyon home and thus foiled the cunning plot. Extra brown envelopes would be necessary. My bad.
