at Pique picking up his 5th yellow by wasting time so he ensures being there against Madrid? Goal Legacy, you have deceived me.

Its what we've come to expect, nothing ever comes of it discipline wise so no use getting up in arms about it

Or maybe not enough people watch La Liga to have noticed

Why would there be outrage here when there wasn't any for Terry's similar action?

If Madrid did it you can be sure to see fines and extra suspensions

But since its Barce its ok and everyone wholly expects you to get away with it

Xabi Alonso and someone else (I forget right now) got suspended further by UEFA for this.

Also Crim your hypothesis is wrong unless you're claiming Madrid fans don't care. They've bitched about plenty of stuff that had no hope of getting extra fines or suspensions. I'm veering more towards the fact that you guys didn't know :coffee:

Cause it's useless to complain, our players were fined for doing so last year, Barca players did that too last season Valdes and Busquets/Pique don't remember very well, but no actions were taken, it will be the same story in this case

Meh, its La Liga.

But onto more interesting news...Terry got booked on purpose against Wolves to trigger his 5 match ban. He was going to be rested today anyways, and now he can go to St. James'. The c*nt.

Didn't Madrid get fined for Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos doing similar things last season?

That was in the Champions League and UEFA slapped them with fines.

I doubt the Spanish FA will do anything about it.

maybe because they didnt make it so obvious like murinho did.

in murinho case you could actually see them conspiring.

and think that could be the difference.

I don't see anything bad about this, really. If he foul hard for the yellow it is different. he just delay, ok.

Why should there be an outrage when real madrid got fined because they did it in the CL while Pique in La Liga. Real Madrid have done that the exact same thing in la liga without getting any suspension..

deliberate yellows to play important matches have been around forever, but really only got large recognition last year when madrid got fined.

la liga and cl are 2 separate entities, uefa decided to fine madrid..

now that this type of event has gained a lot of notoriety, lfp might want to make an example out of barca like uefa did to madrid.
