Im also not saying we have the best league, and I'm also saying we don't have the worst league.. compared to where this league was lets say.. 4-5 years ago, it has improved greatly. No doubt there are problems with the league, like our calendar, Useless Tournaments that arent the same as they were like in the 50s and 70s, but I'm content with how far our league has reached thus far. Ofcourse there still room for progress, because it wasnt till the mid 90s that are league wasn't the best in the world anymore.. I'm not so sure if we will ever get to that level again due to the recent promise and dreams advertised by Europe and their teams. But I'm sure we'll get there once again. Hopefully before we die.

i completely agree with you. what i meant to say, and what my thread about brazilian football being behind (written by a corinthiano btw) is about, is that we are behind when compared to the biggest couontries and teams in world football right now. spain, germany, holland.. i'm not saying we're the worst, but when one looks and see what we couldve been, what we could be... it truly is disappointing. we should be #1! i just hope it does get there before we die!

Re: Brasileirão Futebol Thread: Sponsored by Itaú
joke of the day: elias and ronaldinho on the list, kaká out.
joke of the year: ronaldinho can serve as an example to the other kids.
truth of truths: mano is one of the most clueless, worst coaches we've had in the last 15 years at least.
i mean, sure dont call up kaka, i dont care, but between a guy who's always been a good athlete, an example, and is performing well for RM (and at the UCL!), and a guy who's been off form for years, is a bad example, cant even perform consistently at the Carioca.......... the choice is rather obvious ffs.
And Elias? Mano, why dont u just have sex with him already?
Still, out of this list we can have a good team. On paper.

Maicon is the only decent u23 defender called and can play RB, so unless we waste all 3 over 23 spots on CBs he would be a good pick.
I'd pick him, Dedé and Thiago, if I were the coach.

Não me aprofundarei, agora, no tema.

Montillo is signing a new and improved contract with Cruzeiro and besides the high salary, he will also receive a percentage of marketing revenues related to products related to him.
It will be the highest salary ever in Cruzeiro's history.
