Lucas is the future of Selecao, future world's best. Neymar is overrated. Marcelo is the best brazilian atm.

lol are you saying that based on this one match or have you been constantly watching both neymar and lucas playing for their respectively clubs for the past year, year and half?

either way, you are seriously wrong.. lucas can't touch neymar..

He is faster, better dribbler, stronger, much more intelligent, much more talented IMO. Neymar is the Cr7 type of player, fancy style, tricky.

Hernanes started his career as a volante but he hasn't played volante in awhile. He has played as a 10 ever since 2009 with Sao Paulo and for Lazio now. Plus if he plays as a volante, you lose his amazing long distance shooting, playmaking and dribbling.

For those who speak Portuguese, here is a critical, truthful analysis of the match, the coach, and the players:

Hernanes left as a Volante from Sao Paulo...

Hernanes is better off playing balls to the meias from deep and making deep runs like he was when he was with Sao Paulo under Muricy. Which is when he was at his best.

As someone who watches Lucas and Neymar on a weekly basis, and I'm sure the majority of the brasilians will agree with me Neymar>Lucas.

Robinho is better than Hulk. what are you talking about. Not one game has Hulk looked good.

Plus Robinho is in way better form than Hulk. Milan > Porto. I expect Robinho to be back soon.

If anything Hernanes can play as a segundo volante but not a primeiro volante like Lucas Leiva or Sandro.

Robinho should be called up but I would start Hulk ahead of him. Hulk looked good against Mexico!

hulk>robinho?the hell? But yeah,Robinho should be with the NT atm,has been in hot form recently.would def take him for the olympics instead of Dinho

heres what my fav journalist had to say

Exactly. Sorry but you are totally off track here. Lucas is above average, but he is no Neymar.

Better form? He's had a terrible season and because of 2-3 alright games he's in great form?? No.. he's doing okay, but he's proven again and again that he is too inconsistent to play for us.

He looked good against France, man. That says it. I can't remember the last time Robinho looked good for Brazil. Much before the 2010 WC..

this is what Im trying to say. Hernanes is originally a Segundo Volante. He acts much much better to play a Segundo Volante, instead of a 10. His skills are better suited for it than Elias or Fernandinho who both suck.

Also moving to Hernanes to his original position opens up a spot at AM for someone like Oscar, whose been on a run of good form lately.

list of strikers marginally better than Jonas... Fred, Pato, and Damiao.

the first 2 needs to stay off the physio bench.

Pato is such a frustrating player to watch. I watched the Milan vs Juve on saturday and he provided no movement what so ever. Maybe it's because of all the injuries but he has the potential to be our #9 but even tho he didnt play well today, L.Damiao should be our #9.

Fred is currently on form.

And now that Vagner Love and Luis Fabiano are back in Brazil, they should see their form elevate and possibly be considered for a Brazilian NT spot.

A defesa, porém, recebeu críticas.
