Ganso wrote:
primeiro a recusou, o segundo a pegou.
Mano Menezes postou no twitter:
aceito, entendido e resolvido.
Em suma, ambos resolveram dividir com a
imprensa a responsabilidade pela retumbante
derrota! Ora, façam-me o favor...
ATROPELAMENTO. O tal 3-7-0 do Barcelona,
E, consequentemente, tome
de passe errado, de chutão pra frente, de
chuveirinho a esmo... É nisso que, infelizmente, se
transformou nosso futebol.
Piazza se tornar zagueiro; Tostão, centroavante;
Rivelino, ponta-esquerda, e Jairzinho voltar à ponta-
direita.
Espanha, a Alemanha etc.
Hora do descanso.
blog e volto no início do Estadual do Rio. Boas
Festas e Feliz Ano Novo a todos!

Okay, there are some fair points here, but let us be clear: Muricy Ramalho >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mano Menezes. Muricy's achievements can in no way be compared to Mano's, because they are much greater.

Moving on: it's not their fault football is like that. What they did was adapt to the situation. Muricy is not a saint, but he was very correct in saying that Brazil would crucify him if he tried something like Barcelona. Come on, our clubs fire 3, 4 managers a year ffs!!!!!!!! People wanted Tite out even though Corinthians were sitting at pole position for most of the Campeonato. And then we sell our best players at every 6 months. How can any manager, coach, whatever, be expected to try anything as bold as Barcelona? Some of our players are leaving before they even are promoted to 18. It's ridiculous. So, no, Mano and Muricy are not saints, but they made very good points.

So, who's to blame? CBF. Simply CBF. Instead of investing in our clubs, their players, structures, what do they do? Invest in themselves. Why don't Santos and Botafogo go touring in Europe like they used to in the 60's? Because now it's all about CBF, aka Seleção Brasileira. It's become a brand, with a lot of money, and what they care about. CBF and all those corrupted boards that run most of the clubs ruined our football. It's not the managers fault. Not all of them. They did what they could to adapt.

You know who is Muricy's mentor, biggest hero, a guy he worked with and taught him many things? Telê Santana. Yes, 1982 Brazil's coach, aka the guy who made Brazil play the most beautiful football ever.

We need someone with balls, but most of all someone who has the support of someone bigger who'll back this person up when the media and the public come at them. Someone like Cruyff.

Fact is, Muricy might be our only coach close to World class. And his style isn't pretty. It'll be Dunga all over.

And we still have volantes like the ones we mentioned: Arouca is a big example. But there aren't many. What needs to be changed is the structure of football. The way the kids start to train from 10 years old. Cruyff Cruyff Cruyff!!! lol I don't care if the xenophobic only want Brazilian coaches anymore!!!

I think that has become a bad practice habit in Brazil...

they find it much cheaper to quickly fire and replace headcoaches instead of waiting them out.

exactly, it shows the lack of football understanding from those people who control these things. they want everything to work quickly, "now or never", and obviously it DOESNT work!

it's no wonder the best coach in our country is a "retranca" master. it's the "temporary solution", the way to be successful. because to play beautiful football takes a long time, and will probably involve a lot of losing. that's why mano's criticism was wrong in the beginning, he was trying to make us play pretty but we were losing. people didnt understand it. now he sold out and doesnt really know what he's doing anymore. the WC is in 2,5 years and we don't have a real team yet. 2,5 years lol, how can we expected to play like barcelona!!! its unrealistic!!!

Well, Casemiro is box-to-box midfielder so he's good at doing forward runs and finishing. He's also very good in the air thanks to his strong built. He even scored and assisted a good number of goals when in good form, but his passing is generally inconsistent and he's not the kind of midfielder that will do the passing, setting the tempo, etc.

Even though he's very talented, he has attitude problems (being lazy and careless) and also positional problems. He started as DM, then moved to CM, AM, LM, playing even as CB in the u20 WC, so in the end he doesn't have a proper position thus struggling positionally.

Santos have apparently signed with Nike? So we are going to be expanding our brand as well, selling our shirts throughout the word, with fixed numbers and stuff (which we didn't have before), and it seems like a good deal.

I've also just watched LAOR's itnerview (he's our club President), and it was truly awesome, he talked a lot about Ganso's case and that lie about Neymar's new contract beng invalid.

oh, and he's also said that the rumors about Maxwell coming to Santos are not true, his paycheck is probably too high for our standards, and he says that one Barcelona player wouldn't be enough, they'd need all 11 of them because they a true team that depend a lot on each other.
