Dresden suspended from 2012/13 DFB Pokal (German Cup)

Due to the heavy fan violence during the DFB Pokal match between Borussia Dortmund and Dynamo Dresden, Dortmund got fined 8 000 Euros and Dresden (whose fans are notorious for their violence and repeat offenders) got a ban for the 2012/13 DFB Pokal season. Currently Dresden ponder whether they should try an appeal, but the DFB seems adamant to go through with the punishment.

good punishment for fan violence

Dynamo deserves far better fans, me thinks.

It's a shame to see a club with so much tradition is stuck with thousands of half-(quater-) wits as hardcore fans.

That aside... I think a good decision by the DFB, that couldn't go unpunished.
