Spanish LB's

If there's one uncertain position the Spainish NT has, it's the LB position. If it were up to you guys who would you pick?

Jose Enrique, leagues above his competition the only reason he doesnt get picked is because he plays outside of La Liga and until recently played for an unfashionable club.

Yep, pretty much. Doesn't offer as much going forwards as the others, but who cares when you have Spain's offense.

Disagree, bar Jordi Alba he offers just as much if not more than the rest......

He's alot better going forward than people give him credit for plus if Spain played Llorente he could feed off his awesome crosses and give Spain another dimension :bow:

Maybe because Enrique is a typical EPL LB? Not sure.

What gives you that idea?

He has awesome technique and passing and dribbling skills.......

Just because hes as strong as ox and extremely fast and has awesome crossing does not mean hes a typical EPL LB.......

Can't cross to a midget, plus you lose possession.

spain doesn't need noattackrique since tiki taka is their best defence anyway and Jordi Alba is solid defensivly and miles better going forward than cannotrunoutofpossisioncauseiwillgetexposedrique

From VDB perspective, I think Alba has the edge because he can truly behave like a forward and he is a box to box LWB Very Happy

Enrique is a beast in defence, and I think you're copying Immaculate_Mole when he said something like this for Phil Jones.

Enrique is miles better than all of them in the list. Alba isnt even a natural LB, someone like Robben will rip him to pieces.

Alba is the best going foward. Enrique is better defensively should be between those 2 imo from the list above.

Enrique is the best, but Jordi Alba is no slouch. If Spain are pressing properly, he would hardly ever have to defend 1 v 1 with a winger squaring him up.

I think either could play and both could do a fine job.
