well its only by 1 vote and i accidentally hit montoya instead of azpilicueta.

Considering Azpilicueta has basically claimed the starting RB spot for us and forced Bran back to CB proves who it is.

I doubt Montoya or Carvajal could do that.

No but he is much better than anyone in the BL aside from Lahm and Piszczek.

Also, that speaks volumes of the quality of RB in the BL.

Put Carvajal in Dortmund or Bayern and he wouldn't see the light of day. Azpilicueta would certainly get game time though.

Notice no one but Madrid fans rate Carvajal? Yet all Madrid fans seem to think he's your saviour at RB. Azpilicueta has a future at a top club. As it stands, Carvajal does not.

Any hype around Carvajal died around Christmas outside of the Madrid camp. Azpilicueta on the other hand is still putting in good shifts and has been since his OM days. He also has much more experience in Europe than Carvajal, who, has only really played at any decent level this season.

Give Carvajal at least 2 more decent seasons before you try to claim he is better than Azpilicueta who has proven himself in Spain, France and England and has his position locked down at Chelsea for the next 8-10 years.

who other than chelsea fans talk about azpi nowadays? so because Azpi is at chelsea he has a better future? And you rate players in terms of their hype? i find your arguments very poor.

i am giving facts, i said he is in contention with lham to be voted as the best RB in bundesliga, For a kid that is playing his first pro season it's quite an amazing feat, specially when you consider how good lham is. i didnt claim him to be the best unlike you.

Try reading the thread. See non Chelsea fans saying Azpilicueta? See Non Madrid fans saying Carvajal?

Have you heard of a one season wonder? Whose to say Carvajal isn't one of them? He has been good but has he proven himself in more than one league over more than one season? No. Has he any experience in the CL? No. Has he shut down players such as Ribery? No.

There is a reason Azpilicueta is playing at a top club and Carvajal isn't.

1 - Arbeloa is not young
2- Considering how well Ivanovic has performed at RB , yeah Azpi displacing him means something.
3- Azpi has also more experience than the 2 others. being a starter for OM for 2 years and is going to be for chelsea.

ps : Not saying Azpi is WC but right now he is the better young spanish RB

im actually surprised azpilicueta didnt displace ivanovic earlier. i dont rate ivanovic even less so as a rb and azpi has been solid in every match ive watched him play.

I don't think anyone can argue that Azpilicueta is not the best of the bunch now, and by a fair margin.
