Remember the Portugal team in 04, with 18yr old Cristiano playing incredibly impressively (this is where I first saw him play and became a big fan) + Figo, Deco, Rui Costa, and the 06 team at the Germany WC wasn't too shabby, either. Those Portugal teams played beautifully and were very entertaining to watch.

Now whenever I see the Portugal NT about to play, I always expect 0 goals from them and anything else is usually a surprise to me Sad

Portugal are in decline as a whole and this is a crying shame for the few good players that they have. By the time they are able to fix it those players will be too old. Its almost as if Ronaldo, Nani, Pepe, Bosingwa, Coentrao and Meireles are at the peak of their careers at the wrong time.

Moutinho, Almeida, Veloso, Postiga, Quaresma etc are not up to scratch.

Luck wasnt on our side tonight. Two great chances by Ibisevic went terrible wrong. I hope for a better performance in Lisbon.

Oh well. Looks like Bosnia blew it. The game's pretty much over now. Only a miracle can save Bosnia now.

We didn't concived a single goal in last 7 games from open play. Only goal was from a penalty by France. We outplayed and outclassed France in the first half in Paris. And last night we played without 3 regular starters in defence. So we dont need a big miracle to go through. But it will be tough. I'm not saying we are favorits but everything can happen.

Yeah, it will be tough in Lisbon. Something unexpected must happen in order for Bosnia to go through now.

Feel sorry for the Portugal players???!!! wow. I would kill to have Portugals defenders. If we had them we would definitely get to at least the quarter finals in the WC and semis in the EC. Thats a bare minimum for a team of Portugals stature. To feel sorry for them for what?? Losing to Cape Verde Laughing

even smaller teams would demand a change of coach then.

'' we '' stand for what country ? England ? If so I don't get the part about Portugal having better defs .
