Özil is going nowhere for now...
His father, Mustafa Ozil, is extremly discontent with Mou and Ozil's development at RM. He said in an interview that Ozil has to play second fidel for CR7 and do a lot of defensive work. It costs him a lot of energy over time. The second problem, Kaka starts over him for now, he is afraid that Mou will prefer short term success and merchandising (Perez) over Ozil's long term development. Therefore, he suggested a possible move for Ozil to some other big club (his father is his agent at the same time)
If he leaves RM then where to? Would RM allow the transfer to happen? I don't know what to think... Maybe to Fergie as Rooney's buddy?

edit: someone revived my old thread The thread is from 6 months ago when Özil had form problems. None of the stuff in OP is relevant for now.

Re: Özil is going nowhere for now...
Madrid would be Mad to sell him. I'm convinced tho that if Madrid do not want a player their they will ship him out. Look at any Dutch players who have worn blanco over the past five years for example.
Which team could buy him? - Only a handful.. you know the usual.
What team needs him or a player of his caliber? - Man Utd, Chelsea, Milan.

Re: Özil is going nowhere for now...
Much like Robben, VDV, or Sneijder I don't think he'd have any problem moving on to another team and establishing himself there. I can't imagine him moving for less than what they paid. I would hope that Milan would at least give him a look. They've supposedly been in the market for a new attacking mid for a few windows now with nothing really being done. He'd likely walk straight into the starting 11.

Come to Arsenal.
Plenty of players have fathers as agents.

Relatives are always allowed to work as agents. Not that it is always sensible - remember Diego's father -_-'The xcx wrote:Oh and btw having a father as a agent, isint that against the fifa rules or something?

Re: Özil is going nowhere for now...
According to transfermarkt.de he is 32000000€ woth currently, less than Aguero but more than Snejder back then
http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/mesut-oezil/profil/spieler_35664.html
Only a handful of teams could afford him. The question is whether RM will let him leave if he requests a transfer...

Re: Özil is going nowhere for now...
We are playing in Copa Del Rey, La Liga and CL. His dad should expect rotation in a club like this. He is sharing the same position with the third most expensive player in the world and you have to earn your spot no one gets it easy.
Ozil recently turned 23 and Kaka is nearing the end and past his prime. His dad and agent need to chill!
