Spurs defense is the only thing which somewhat pales in comparison to Arsenal and Chelsea's defense but again with the way some of Chelsea's defenders are performing you could easily have a case there and on the other hand Spurs' defense is exceeding expectations.

Midfield and attack is clearly better than Chelsea especially when you take form into account but its close when you compare to Arsenal's.

I do rate Arsenal highly as they have a good all-round team but currently Spurs hold the edge imo and though there is not much to choose between Arsenal and Spurs' respective squads.

Chelsea is the third best team in London.

as good as modric was in the croatian league do you really think he would be good enough for a team in the PL??? no offense to that league(or whoever supports a team in that league) but thats like the sunday league

defoe was just one of "those" players with lots of potential but nothing..if you know what i mean...he is still nothing but my point is harry is having to work with these and he does a pretty damn good job

Chamack was league 1s best player since benzema left(not that he is any useful anymore lol)

Vermealen was bought from ajax after being their best player as a defender

Nasri was also one of the best in the league 1 before arsenal signed him

rosicky was dortmunds best player and one of the best players in the league along with Hleb before Arsenal got him and Hleb

Hnery was also pretty damn good before he joined Arsenal

Now lets look at Tottenham

scott parker, very important for west ham but not very good

VDV, meh, garage sale ftw

Ade played with the U16 in city

Pav...their only good transferred player

see, they have an average squad, but they are still doing what most top teams havent been able to....get the results

But boy do they OVERPAY for average players

Huntelaar and suarez were both better than Vermaelen at ajax. No one knew who vermaelen was untill we signed them

Nasri wasn't was the best player at ligue 1, the fact Marseille rejected 20m bid for ben arfa but let nasri go for 13m says it all.

Hleb was playing for stuttgart ffs, no one even knew who he was. Rosicky was highly rated because of WC 2006

VDV was decent with Madrid and he's been great with Tottenham. Good transfer and he's been one of the most important players for Tottenham, not as important as Modric, of course.

I'll say wait and see but in the famous words of...(english jewel? I'm not sure) "the table doesn't lie".

But I'm happy with where Tottenham is and they have a good enough squad this year to totally maintain that position fairly well.
