Re: Spurs will overcome Arsenal
Like your team needed pens to win against a promoted side and another to beat a swansea side who at that time hadn't won a game since FebMotogp69 wrote:Thread needed a bump.
The savior of Gooner town arrived and they still had problems with an average to below average premier league side and ended up needing "help" to kill Sunderland's momentum to secure the result.

That was hardly Ozils fault, Walcott did a great impression of Torres last night

Not remotely blaming Ozil, he looked great, and he and Giroud got me them fantasy points In regards to Walcott, compared to last years form, I have no idea what's going on with him because he should have quite a few goals right now.
However, everyone was bound to overreact after the North London Derby (which I said Spurs wouldn't win and should hope for a draw at best). Arsenal just look like United light right now, where they are one injury away from the back line blowing up, and Wengers only answer is to hope they outscore everyone.
Should they actually employ the tactics that won them the first leg of the North London Derby I think they could be quite good, but that means Wenger would have to act like he's not losing his mind.
In the end, nothing has changed, and this game proved it once again.

Re: Spurs will overcome Arsenal
Thread really doesn't need a bump until January IMO, when we can start to see how the two teams will shape up for the end of the season.
Anyway, people are always going to overreact/kneejerk after the NLD. I'm betting by the end of the season Arsenal and Spurs will battle it out for 4th like always. Right now it's far too early to tell. Of course, after the game Arsenal are title contenders and Spurs are 5th at best, but then again, that's GL at it's finest, take it or leave it, it's humorous at least.
Only thing I can say is both teams have great sides and Arsenal got some luck today

Begrudgingly agree with you. Spuds will eventually develop chemistry and understanding among each other, and we'll hopefully be closer to full strength with key players (too many to list) returning
