We should blow Ponty away, and the CL games dont matter any more, so we can completely focus on La Liga. Some pretty tough games there, if we dont drop any points Im pretty sure that we will have a bigger lead come the clasico. And if we win that, giving us an even bigger lead... it would really help in the mid stages of the league.

Sure will be nice to be the only undefeated and unscored upon team in CL. These games are not as meaningless as you make them out to be, and the opposition is not that strong. Only one I am concerned about is Ajax game since it is just a few days before Classico.

Out of respect for Lyon and Ajax who are playing for something, we need to play the Ajax game at 100%.

We have the clasico after Ajax, noobs will be playing

Of course it will, but I would prefer to give other players and youngsters the chance instead of burning out our usual starters to get a 100% finish. Mou will probably do the latter. I wouldnt be surprised if even our second team manages to beat Zagreb at home...

Note: I was wrong about Copa game (shame shame). Only Barcelona plays their 1st copa game this week. Ours and the rest are in Dec (both away and home) after Classico. So with seleccion games now coming up, we don't play (valencia) for 2 weeks.

Unfortunately I had to miss game today (1st one this year) as I was recovering from family event last night (My son's wedding). Sounds like I missed a good one.

Valancia is going to be a HELL -LIKE game.

This game was tough as several of you predicted.

My observations of this game.
- Valencia are a good team, imagine how much better they are with Canales in starting line-up.
- I don't like Lass (in any role) - Nick and I are in agreement on this one)
- I don't like Ozil on wing, keep him at Cam where he is most effective.
- Ramos has made the permanent move to CB
- I'm impressed with both Soldado and Alba. Interesting that 2 of best strikers in liga (Negredo is the other are madrid cast offs. If you look at the entire liga excluding Barca and Madrid, most of the better players in liga are ex madrid.

i dont think ozil is too bad on the wings, lets not knee jerk here, for him to become a better player hes gonna have to evolutionize.

of the games before barcelona, sporting should be hardest.

if we fail against atletico then id die.

Sporting and Ajax are hard. first one you know why and second one because it's before clasico and i think we will play with our B team.

AJAX game will be a nice trip for Altintop, Granero, Sahin, Varane, Albiol... But Gijon scares me :/

What scares the most with Gijon match is the atmosphere of the stadium !! It's infernal each time we play them
