Nike kits are overrated
But as far as marketing is concerned, no one else is comparable.

Write The Future is my favourite. In terms of marketing, NO ONE is comparable to Nike.

Okay, got a negative vote , so gonna clear my comment .
First and foremost, Marketing/advertising is only considered a success if it either sustains or grows the profits and sales of a companies products. So, if it isnt effective , no matter how good it looks , its a waste of time and money.
As to why i said Pepsi and Coke are much better :
Simple , while Nike and Adidas are some of the popular brands in the world , they are the most popular brands in sports, while Pepsi and Coke is larger and are long lasting in, not only their niche market, but in other markets too, and to stay ontop and for so long and still be seen as popular and most wanted and THAT is how you know how good your marketing is.
Also, Nike controls more of the American market while Adidas controls more of the European markets , while in the other markets ( i think) its Nike leading Adidas in the African market and the Asian market.
But what you dont know is that , while they are popular in the other markets , they are not as popular because of
a) local brands
b) brands like Reebok and Puma are pretty strong in the these markets.
Heck, in America itself , there are tons of other sporting good manufacturers that control small sections all over the United States , so to think their all high and mighty is wrong.
While on the other hand, screw the American and European market for now , if you look at the Indian market , only the Indian market , you will understand where im coming from.
Even if people ask for a soft drink , the person is most likely to get a coke or a pepsi , EVEN if there are other soft drink products in the market. And im only talking about the Indian market.
Keep multiplying that for every countries market , then every contient and Nike and Adidas are close to nothing compared to these two giants.
THIS shows how powerful the branding/marketing/advertising of Pepsi and Cola are compared to Nike and Adidas
And please, if you give a negative vote, how about you explain it to the person as to why you gave a negative vote? Would make discussion on such topics little bit more educational and more worthwhile to read.
