ive been doing the same today, im up to the one where you have to get that diary translated by that mage from the collage except the game wont let me begin that quest untill i complete my current mages guild quest

i stopped yesterday on the same exact quest,go to the local inn,ask the guy about it and hell say there is a mage in the inn,go talk to this mage in a room nearby and pay him 136 or persuade him.

As said I never played any of the other Elder Scrolls but I'll definitely be looking into it, especially if Morrowind is as good as people say (^.^)- we actually had that game a long time ago, but we never really played it and sold it. Perhaps now I'm realizing my mistake as a little 10 or so year old.

But yeah if your an RPG person and you get into the game, you will probably get addicted and my social life is starting to fade more... hmmm....

Skyrim is boss. And I'm not even far into it at all.

Bethesda have this weird way of wrapping people up in their RPG games (Elder Scrolls/Fallout) but I can't say I don't like BioWare's games more (Mass Effect/KOtOR)

Just got this game, don't know if I can handle another game where one quest results in 4 tributary quests lol.

I'm now 90 hours into the game, at level 48, and I still haven't finished the main quest, the civil war, the dark brotherhood, the thieves guild, or the mages quests. I don't know which emote is more appropriate: or ?

I think I went about playing this game the wrong way.

I'm not even level 20 yet but I dived into dark brotherhood, mage college, civil war and most of the main quest. I should've spaced it out more.

I'm afraid after the main quest and the thieves guild I will have nothing major to do any more. :'(



I really like the game it's so easy to get wrapped up in. but I think it's missing some mini-game type of events. Unless there are any?

what what what? No mini-game events? Well my friend pick up a pick-ax and a firewood chopping axe and prepare yourself for some thrills and chills.

The first bit had me excited.



The game could have really done well with some mini-games like a battle type event of even raiding a castle or some medievel sh*t. A sort of game you can play again and again instead of getting bored and wiping out a town of innocent people

what is this civil war you all speak of and how do i join? is it somehow related to that stormcloak guy?

also finished the dark brotherhood last night, story line was GOAT

People tend to say that skyrim has 300h+ of gameplay, yet you can complete the mainstory+ all the faction quests and side quests a bit over of 100h+ hours. So what about the rest 200h? exploring killing dragons and shit?..I dont find that interesting.

I'm sick of exploring identical dungeons for similar purposes over and over again but I still love this game. A lot of the time spent is on walking for me so far, just discovering places is pretty time consuming. But I don't think every single side quest can be completed in under 100 hours because there are just so damned many.

Oh yeah, bought a horse. Just thought "what the heck, it'll save me walking time".

On my horse, I see a group of enemies. I get off my horse at a distance so it won't be harmed. As soon as I get off, it charges and attacks them all and dies.

Never happend to me but, Its *bleep* annoying when you come off the horse, he tends to run away for some reason.

Yeah he did that before he died, when I was fighting some wolves. Absolute waste of money.

Yeah that's why I wanted mini games.
There's only so many petty side quests a man can do.

No doubt the game is boss, but, most of the cities are too small and the main quests are too short. Like when you start the college quests you start off learning basic spells and you think you'll be there for a while going from teacher to teacher. Then 1 quest in... BOOOM. You're forced to do the main plot which is short and before you know it, you're done.

The same with the dark brotherhood, 3 contracts in and you have to do the main part when you've barely begun. And then...

One of the special horses in the game, Frost, just disappeared in my game. I went into a dungeon, came out, and it was gone. I can't find its body, and it isn't at its home. Frost's stats are no better than a normal horse, but still

Anyway, you will soon be at the point where you make so much money that buying a horse isn't a big deal at all. I currently have well over 100000 gold, and I own just about everything...

I'm gonna make some Daedric Armour and enchant it all so that it gives me magicka. Can't wait lol.

You are all horrible people, how could you do the Dark Brotherhood quests lol the people in the holds will hate you after and killing the people felt wrong, I killed the night mother and ended the dark brotherhood.

Now a level 40 Imperial. Was level 22 like a week ago.

Just when I thought I was bossing the game with my trusty steed Shadowmare an elder dragon and frost dragon team up on us.

Fight lasted 10 mins.

GAME IS EPIC.

Sometimes I feel bad when I'm about to do an unethical quest. Then I realize it's just a video game, and go GTA mode on the people of Skyrim

Anyway, I just can't stand to see an interesting quest not completed in my journal...

Is the Companion side quests any good?

Because i don't think i can finish the rest of the quests because of a bug, or until Bethesda fixes it.

I guess it's time to join the college of mage and remain as a werewolf.
