OKAY SO, International break is upon us. You could argue that it's come at good time since we've been hit with some unfortunate injuries. Or it's come at a bad time since we're having a rich run of form.

Our players that have been called up.

England
Gerrard
Sturridge - unfit, might pull out
Sterling

England U-21
Wisdom

- Also have Robinson, Will Hughes and Jonjo called up Proud

Uruguay
Suarez

Denmark
Agger

Belgium
Mignolet

Slovakia
Skrtel

Nigeria
Moses

Good amount of first teamers not called up cheers
Lucas, Coutinho, Aspas, Enrique, Henderson, Sakho, Borini, Jones, Ilori, Ibe, Alberto, Kelly, Cissokho (injured)

Also some pulled out due to injuries.
Kolo, Johnson, Allen, and Coates

Let's hope Sturridge doesn't have to join the English squad and we should be good with our two weeks to get the new boys integrated and others rested.

Mignolet will be 2nd choice i suppose. So only fear is with Agger and Moses really.Hopefully they comes unscathed .Good that we now have serious depth in CB not to fret over Agger's fitness.

Surprising that Brasil dont consider Lucas not good enough for their squad.

Mignolet is actually first choice ahead of Courtois at the moment.

I would have actually like Enrique, Aspas & Borini to get a call-up. It would have their moral some good. On the other hand, why the hell Roy needs Rahim! He is barely 30 years old ;-)

It's difficult for Aspas to get a call-up given the attacking talent Spain possesses. However, Enrique surely deserves a call-up by now. Who cares, it's better for us anyway.

I'm glad he missed these England matches Proud

Now he's got 9 days to recuperate with our medical staff until the Swans game. Things are looking good.

Btw Gerrard was MOTM against Moldova. And Agger's return to Denmarks XI saw them win again and keep their hopes of qualifying alive. Thumbs up

Please god, please, please...don't hit us with any injuries or fatigue. We got a 6-pointer right after the break. The likes of Gerrard & Sturridge are playing without any breaks for some time now. Wonder how long can they carry on.

If you saw the goal you would know it wasn't Skrtel's fault at all. The ball rolled through goalkeepers legs from a back pass from Martin.

Laughing Yeah poor Martin, if you just look at the score sheet it looks like Skrtel had a bad game just from the own goal. But it wasn't even remotely his fault. I didn't watch the match but I heard he even had a decent game.

So, Cleverly is crocked and the Hodge calls up... Sterling?

That's hardly a like-for-like swap. It's also somewhat odd as Sterling hasn't exactly been in great form for club, much less country.

Why not call up Hendo, who has been in fine form for the club, is now too old to contribute to the U21s, and who would be a like-for-like *cough* improvement *cough* swap with Cleverly?

Just one more example of Woy's decision making process. I suppose it's not a bad thing for LFC that Hendo's not playing two extra matches, but you have to believe it would only be good for the lad's confidence and a fair reward for his play over the last 6 months.
