How confident are you in Jenkinson ?? do you think he can hold the fort for 3 months ??

I have no confident in him whatsoever but i will support him, it's not his fault he has been throw in the deep end plus he is a fan so it's something he has always wanted to do

he'll do alright. he wont be mistake free but he'll fill the void. he's been okay in his performances bar the NLD where he was getting toasted by the Godeth Bale.

wenger said he wont play all the games

he also said koscielny was a RB back in the days

i think wenger will try him at home games, but koscielny will play the bigger ones

but taht leaves Djourou at CB with Mertesacker

I have a lot of faith in him. I see a lot of the criticism aimed towards him to be unfounded and unfair. He'll hold his own.

I have faith in him too, I'm impressed with his intensity and he really does show potential. Maybe he'll surprise us all and do great. But he'll definitely slip up here and there.

I don't have that much faith in him at the moment, but at the very least I know the kid has a big heart and will keep trying. Even in that United game, he was still going up and down the right and playing his heart out. So maybe that'll see him through this period.

Credit to Jenkinson today. One bad mistake in first half but overall had a good game, particularly in second half. Got forward all game and made several passes and crosses.

Against better opposition, he will probably be exposed due to his inexperience but today he did well.

Very impressed again with Jenkinson tonight. Like against Sunderland got forward all game and his crosses are very good.

Still learning defensively, but this is obvious at 19-years old.

You know, we have to be careful on criticizing youngsters because they are forgiven for a period of time with mistakes, etc.

Off course Traore is another example, but dont be surprised if he becomes best lb in epl.

SMH at some people giving up on Ramsey.

Now back to Jenkinson, yes Im impressed but he is not at Gibbs' level yet.

He has the most depressing injury face i've ever seen. Whenever he was on the floor in pain, he had this distressed look on him that broke my heart

Thing I like about Jenkinson is he played as a CB so he puts his defensive duties first, he is not often caught up the pitch. Sucks he is injured as I feel he could of grown a lot over then next three months, hopefully short term injury.

For the next 2 games, being without Jenkinson wouldn't even be as bad as it could be though.

Djourou at right-back v Stoke, could help having 3 cbs in backline for set-pieces.

Carling cup v Bolton maybe we will see a youth player (yennaris) at right-back or even gavin hoyte.
