Nice.
I wouldn't want the fat guys on my bike, though. Can you imagine once you have to turn or go up a hill?

Re: Interesting stats
hippie propaganda to show that cars are totally bad for the environment, dude
you can even tell that the car picture is taken from a lower altitude to make it look like cars are even worse at taking up space

Re: Interesting stats
Rough count (assuming it doesn't go any longer). 16 * 4 = 64 cars. (Edit after fail) So, yeah, pretty much a person per car (with 4 cars left over?). Obviously there will be more than one person in some cars, especially in the hours to and from school, so it's not entirely accurate. But buses are a great, cheap way to get around. Not that I prefer it over getting around in a car, though. Public transport can be really annoying. The Madrid One wrote:how does that car thing make sense? a car per person?

Re: Interesting stats
Noone puts 5 random people in his own car. Also, this seems to be talking about traffic.
I drive 2 hours everyday, in NYC, 90% of the cars have one person in them.

By that standard though nobody puts random people on their bikes. And also, this chart is assuming something really off.
If 60 random people would carpool or something, what makes them think 60 random people would want to take the bus ? Or ride a bike ?

there are 60 bikes there....one for each..... random people don't carpool.....carpool and taking the bus are too different things....

No, they are saying if 60 people rode a bike to work that's the total needed space. If 60 people took a bus that's the needed space.JuvenelCuore wrote:Messi wrote:Noone puts 5 random people in his own car. Also, this seems to be talking about traffic.
