All kidding aside, I couldn't be happier for United. They so deserve it.

They went through hell and back to shake off the toxicity left behind by Mourinho, but they still came out the other side stronger.

It took just one man to reverse the club's misfortune and make the Theater of Dreams smile again. And even though he could still very well finish trophyless, he sure as hell has done enough to earn the respect of the board, their fans and last but not least us, neutrals.

I hope he'll continue to write his own legend in the book of time and bring glory back to the Red Devils.

Just watched the incident and it's a clear handball. His arm is away from his body, making himself bigger, while jumping in to block a shot / cross. You simply cannot allow that, otherwise every defender becomes a second goalkeeper, too.

It's a natural jumping motion. Unless you jump with your arms tucked in.

My thoughts on this tie are largely irrelevant given my eyes were affixed on the Porto-Roma tie but want to congratulate Firenze who is a unique Manchester United fan but deep down red as it comes as its always entertaining watching him from comedic to serious and its been a pleasure posting with you for all these years.

Shame it had to be United going through but might as well have fun laughing at PSG this season.

hands were moving towards body and not the ball. don't see how you can read intent in that.

His arms aren't spread out though. You jump with your arms slightly out, that's a natural motion.

It gets even worse when you factor in the speed of the ball coming at the player. There is certainly no intention there. So the only arguable piece is that the player is attempting to make himself bigger and I don't buy it.

I don't want to watch football where defenders have to tuck their arms in the entire time they defend. I already get pissed off enough that it happens so much. Not to mention the amount of people who say stupid shit like "it should be an automatic handball if it touches someone's hand/arm even if it's not deliberate".

I understand that there is some grey area so it's not dumb to think it's a penalty, but for me it's never a penalty. Refs and VAR have messed up here on the largest stage.

Why did they even look at it? It's not a clear and obvious error.

The implementation of VAR has been incredibly erratic and it's really starting to grate on me even if I like it overall.
