Tbh i enjoyed FC4 for what it was, i just have a huge issue with First Person Open World games where the draw distance causes me motion sickness.

It's not best and worst, its favourite and most disappointing. Big differences there.

well most of my best games are also my favourites. I understand the difference though.

Same here, stopped playing some really good games like Bioshock Infinite because they would give me nausea, it's a terrible thing.

Bioshock i can get around because it's quite linear by comparison( even Infinite) but i don't like big massive worlds in first person.

If i had a PC where i could adjust things like that it would be different but alas.

Can't wait for new Deus Ex ffs, although the pos delayed it till August

Like RG said, its hard to choose just 5 favorites between many games you've enjoyed

Could easily make another list remembering some other favorites (Okami, Starfox Adventures, Psychonauts, WoW, Shadow Complex)

planning on buying a PS3 again over the holidays

just so I can play Yakuza 4 & 5

Might as well buy an xbox 1 and wrap it up then put it away for banter

I mentioned numerous times that it's one of the best games i've ever played so it deserves a top 5 imo.

The story sucked me in. Shit was insane
The soundtrack :banderas: me and Arq were fapping about it so much once lmao
The gameplay was 10/10 loved the stealth in the game
The character was A1 mah man Adam Jensen
The setting was mesmerizing. Really felt being in that futuristic world.

Hmm i should have given it more time. I guess i'll buy A mankind divided.

Top 5 favourite games to play. Not necessarily the best games I've played, but the games which I spent a lot of time on without feeling bored or anything.

5) Fifa 11

Still the best fifa I've ever played. Played over 1000 games on it online. Didn't do homeworks or studied for exams because I was that addicted to it ffs. There was barely anything wrong in the game. Nothing was broken nor anything required 200 patches per month to fix. One of the only fifa games which is universally loved. It was genuinely fun to play.

4) Age of Empires II

When I think about this game, I feel like loading it up instantly on PC. Spent over 5 years playing it and one of my favourite games of all time. The battle system for such an old game was awesome. It was a complete game. AI was great, insane depth, all the campaigns were enjoyable and diverse and it was one of those games which made you plan your every move carefully and help you become more tactical.

3) COD4: Advanced Warfare

Best Cod ever, period. Waking up early at the weekend to play this game throughout the weekend or coming home from school and getting on it. This game and my high school life went together. I doubt i'll ever play a console FPS better than this. And I doubt they'll make a FPS better than this game. The simplicity was the best part in this cod and the skill level was insane. This game MADE CoD the series it is.

2) Final Fantasy 8

I've talked about this game a lot. My favourite FF game in the series and I remember spending over 3 months playing it and even levelled all the characters to 99 which basically meant the final boss was piss easy. It had a 10/10 story, 10/10 music, 10/10 replayability and it never bored you even for a second. I rarely replay games again (unless its to platinum games), but I genuinely want to replay this on PS4 if they ever remaster it.

1) Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror

As a game, it was a nothing game in the gaming community. It wasn't even a game when it came out and it was an Unreal Tournament Mod. But it became a stand alone game later on. It was around the time where CS 1.6 was dominating the gaming world and the whole TO community itself had about 3000-5000 people with about 1000 being regulars.

However it still remains as the only game where I spent over 5 years playing. I downloaded it for every new PC I got, even this one. Despite not playing it for 6 years. I had my own clan with servers and forums and everything. In fact, I probably would have never been into forums if it wasn't for this game.

Game basically died around 2009 and last I checked, there are only 20 odd servers open with 60 gamers.

Honourable Mentions: Witcher 3, Bloodborne, Shining Force 1+2, GTA: Vice City

Top 5 most disappointing games

5) GTA: San Andreas

Majority consider this as the GOAT GTA game but I couldn't get into it. Sure it was absolutely massive and had so much to do. But it never could grip me and I dont even remember finishing it.

4) FF13

I had high hopes for this game. From the trailers etc this game looked like a masterpiece ffs. Great visuals and combat system. but I played 20 minutes before retiring. Should rename this game to 'FF: Press x to win'

3) CoD: Ghosts

The game which Killed CoD for me. Had quite high hopes for it. But the online was worse than anything i've ever played. Game is only memorable as it was the first game I ever returned.

2) Assassins Creed

Went into the game after reading insane hype. Lasted an hour before never touching it ever again. Was expecting a masterpiece and i genuinely wanted to get into AC games since the main character always appealed to me and the setting etc.

Game's combat was awful.

1) Arkham Knight

As a massive Arkham games fan. I thought they would make a game which would surpass all the previous games. But this game ended up becoming the worst in the series. And it had potential to be the best which is the most disappointing thing. It has the best combat of any Arkham games. But the story was so mediocre and with no boss fights and forcing players to use Bat mobile when they didn't want to ruin the game completely.

As a sending off game in the series, it left a bad taste.

Dishonourable Mentions: Red Alert 3, MGS2, GTA4

Favourite:
1. World of Warcraft pre level 85 I think. Can't think it's not the most fun I've had playing a game ever. Lost my youth to that game
2. Fifa 2002. My first fifa game, and I had so much fun.
3. GTA VC/SA. Those 2 blended into pretty much the same game for me as I played them at the same time and loved them both so much.
4. Witcher 3. Best RPG I've ever played, so much fun.
5. KOTOR. Best storybased game I've played, loved everything about it. Would love an update that's canon though. Revan is probably my favourite character in all video games.

Honorable: GTA V, MGSV so far (didn't play any of the others), AC2, Uncharted series. Arkham City.

Most disappointing?
1. Most Fifas since 2004.
2. NBA 2k15. They don't give a shit about online servers and only focus on sale of VC. Gameplay is amazing.
3. AC3. Awful conclusion to the trilogy. Couldn't even play it through. Was not for me at all.
4. WoW after level 90. Became to convoluted, so I stopped playing.
5. Skyrim. Could get into it at all. Heard so many great things. Was not for me.

Dishonorable mentions: Infamous game last year or something, can't remember it.

Really hope we get a new KOTOR at some point, although it won't be for a long time as EA are not in the business of releasing anything which takes shine away from Mass Effect lol.

Which is ironic considering without KOTOR the very idea of Mass Effect wouldn't exist.

Tried to play KOTOR a few years back, seemed like a poor man's ME imo, stopped playing after an hour in. I'm sure it was great in its time.

Played it last year. Loved every bit of it. Probably due to my fandom. It is basically a great mobile game now adays.
