All of you ladies need to chill and put your tampons on. There isn't much quality available in the market to fill the position we are looking to reinforce. I wasn't even expecting us to sign anyone to be honest.Kalstrom is a sensible signing more than anything.he is coming to provide cover in case we loose any more midfielders to injuries. Ox will play in midfield until Jack and Rosicky recover from injuries plus Kalstrom is only here on loan anyway.

Rather than sit here and whine about not getting any shiny new toys, why don't we name some players we think we should have been going after? Although "no quality is available" is a convenient excuse, you'll probably find that it is a factual one. If quality were readily available then wouldn't you think that City, Chelsea, United, Spurs and Liverpool would have done more to add to their squads this window?

I dont buy that excuse players are not available crap, what about summer time? it went down to the last few hour to sign Ozil.

We needed a striker and we did nothing about it. I dont care about this window, its just that Wenger did not do his job in the summer. We go through this every year, it just shows Wenger should not be in charge of everything.

I really wanted us to buy a striker and fight for the league, but I just hope Bendtner and Giroud can stay healthy for the rest of the season.

Glad this transfer window is over.

I know but we should have really done better, we knew Suarez was not happening and Higuian went to Napoli.

It's not so much as whining about no new toys as it is we're sinking in quicksand and asking for Someone to throw us a rope, yet the person closest to help just says "eh you'll be fine if you move your legs around really quickly"

I get that it could be worse. I get that we are lucky to do were we are yet it's so frustrating to be so close yet the things that will push you over the top don't happen and you fall just short. I know we still have a hance and I still believe but I wish that the front office did a little more to make it easier on the squad. I mean we've lost two of our best goal scorers in Walcott and Ramsey for who knows how long, to an attack that was already thin to begin with. Now you just have to wonder where are our goals going to come from?

As for maybe what I would have done, I would have seen who could help from MLS. They don't start playing until late march which is pretty much when our difficult period ends. Maybe we could have gone to TFC and tried to loan Bradley and Defoe, they would have totally helped and would have made sense for all parties. Even If that wouldn't have worked specifically I guess I think we could have gotten more creative

neither is the Klose one, and probably 95% of the Draxler one. So you didn't 'miss out' on those, that's not something to complain about.

Another thing might be however that maybe you needed a striker as cover for Giroud, and Mitroglu joins Fulham with Berbatov going to Monaco.

It is almost to painful to get on here and read anything today.
Was really hoping that this transfer period would bring a rejuvenation to the hopes of gaining silverware this year. Wenger was once again in search of only that TOP TOP TOP class player that would help us to the promised land. Will he find the CF that will help move us forward? Or will he find some wingers that some feel we are in desperate need for? Will he take the chance on Drax?

So he shocks the world finding a 31 year old Kim Kallstrom a midfielder that is fighting for time with Spartak Moscow.

Depressing, sounds more like another 4th place trophy singing than silverware ambition.
