I ave high hopes for us during the transfer market. Wenger will make an un-wenger like purchase. Unfortunately Hazard is out of our reach now, but we will get Goetze, Sow and Podolski . Here is to hope cheers

But I have hopes from this window.. Wenger has admitted we are too reliant on RvP and fir all we know or care, that 'fantastic player' could be Podolski. Wink

He's definitely not denying that we need better attacking options, given the Arsenal injury track record he should be ready to make some deals in January. I don't know if he'll go as far as selling Arshavin but definitely Chamakh and Squi. Abou Diaby too, we had a 10 m offer for him in the summer and this injury thing has been beyond massively ridiculous.

So Arsene has made his choice, and has kept Coquelin over Frimpong. Will Frimpong be starting for Wolves though? I'd like to think he is capable of doing so. He'll definitely improve; especially on skills like shooting and creating (as their players aren't all that creative really)

Borussia Dortmund attacker Kevin Grosskreutz has stated that he and team-mate Mario Gotze will stay at the Bundesliga champions until 2014, despite the pair reportedly being linked with moves to Arsenal.The German pair have both become key figures for Jurgen Klopp's side and are also part of the German national side set-up.

Grosskreutz and Gotze are out of contract in the summer of 2014 and the 23-year-old left winger has refuted rumours that the two close friends could leave before then.

"He cannot leave without me because we are always together. Gotze and I will stay until 2014," the former Rot Weiss Ahlen man told Bild.

Podolski plans Cologne talks
Striker admits he has received offers from other clubs

Lukas Podolski insists he will hold talks with Cologne before making a decision on his future after revealing he has received offers from other clubs.

The Germany international is under contract at Cologne until 2013, but recently raised doubts about his future after expressing concern about the failure to challenge for European qualification.

The striker has been linked with Arsenal, although Cologne are confident Podolski will stay at the club at least until the end of the season.

Podolski, who scored both goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Stuttgart, remains unsure about his long-term future, but will not do anything without speaking to Cologne first.

"I will talk to Cologne before anybody else and see what they have to say," he told ZDF television.

"Of course I am getting plenty of offers and I expect more of them to arrive to me, to my agent or to my club in the coming weeks.

"But I repeat, I must first talk to Cologne."

Arsenal are tracking Nice defender Luciano Fabian Monzon.

The Argentine is also being watched by Germany's Schalke.

Monzon, 24, has been impressive for Nice in the French League and has attracted interest from several big clubs across Europe.

Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his defence after missing out on a deal for Bolton defender Gary Cahill during the summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has played down talk of buying Mexican striker Marco Fabian.

Chivas star Fabian's family insist in the Mexican press that he is on the brink of joining Arsenal in a £6m move in January.

Fabian even insists he wants a rivalry with Manchester United's Javier Hernandez in the Premier League.

But when asked if he was interested, Wenger said today: "No. It is just an agent who wants to sell a player."

Fabian has been involved in controversy as he shared a bad taste goal celebration, pretending with a team mate to shoot someone in the head, says the Mirror.

Furthermore, Fabian was also suspended from the national set-up by the Mexican FA along with six other team mates following a wild party allegedly involving prostitutes.

Just when I thought we were getting a classy South American striker....BTW the party mentioned in this article,is the one in which Vela got involved right?

The Mirror says Wenger admitted he will allow out-of-favour Almunia to leave in January.

The Spanish keeper would be out of contract next summer anyway.

Olympique Marseille star Lucho Gonzalez is pricing himself out of a move to the Premier League.

The Sunday Mirror says Gonzalez's £115,000-a-week wages are proving a stumbling block to his Premier League hopes.

Marseille have agreed to offload the Argentine play-maker in January and he wants to come to England.

But the 30-year-old's huge Euros 7million annual gross salary mean his French club must either subsidise his wages or wave a loan fee.

Gonzalez nearly joined Arsenal in August and now has other top-flight clubs including Everton interested.

good choice, wolves on their day can play decent possession football, which would suit our style. would have liked him to go swansea but looks like they want an AM in mcrechan. westbrom would have been good too.
