Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulou is very happy at the club according to his agent.
The 21-year old has attracted interest from Arsenal in recent times amidst rumours that he is seeking a January departure from Stade Velodrome but his representative, Maxime Nana, insists he is content where he is.
"Nicolas is fine at Marseille at the moment," Nana told L'Equipe.
"He is keen to experience a lot of success at Marseille.
"As long as he has the trust of the coach (Didier Deschamps ) and the club, there is no reason to look elsewhere."

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I don't get why we are being linked with center backs. We are well stocked, have some good youth prospects coming through, and in the case that we sell Squid, I am pretty sure Wenger would rather sign Cahill on a free in the summer than spend on a defender in January.

I have heard good things about him...But won't another young attacker hamper the chances of our youth players??

Wish list.
We should not spend money on players we don't need buy these 3 players and we don't have to spend for another year.
Vertonghen, Gotze and Podoski gave over for the rest of EPL teams.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Lille are weighing up a loan move for Arsenal starlet Francis Coquelin.
The French side, who were knocked out of the Champions League on Wednesday, are looking to bolster their midfield and see the young Frenchman as an excellent short-term option.
Coquelin has impressed in his appearances for Arsenal this season, but is understood to be seeking a loan move in order to boost his development.
The 20-year-old is under contract at the Emirates until the summer of 2013.

Lille would be so beast with him in the team. I'm not sure we should keep sending him back to france though. we should try to integrate him in the squad more here.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Real Madrid target Robin Van Persie
Robin van Persie is a target for Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants have noted that contract talks between the 28-year-old striker and Arsenal have stalled.
The predatory Real hierarchy are well aware that if Van Persie does not agree a new deal by the end of the season, he’ll have just 12 months left at the Emirates before becoming a free agent.
Boss Jose Mourinho has inspired Real to produce some thrilling football as they battle with Barcelona at the summit of La Liga and his side has stormed into the last 16 of the Champions League.
Van Persie has said that he will leave discussions until the end of the season.
He wants to be certain that the Gunners are heading in the right direction, both in terms of success on the field and the quality of signings.
Sources close to Van Persie insist he is open-minded and really hopes Arsenal can break their barren trophy-run with him as their on-feld leader.
Van Persie has already been at Arsenal for seven years and can see himself emulating the kind of long-term career that his old hero Dennis Bergkamp enjoyed with the Gunners.
But sentiment will not totally cloud his final decision.
And if contract talks fail, then Arsenal will be tempted to sell rather than lose the Dutchman on a free transfer in 2013.
Manchester City, the biggest spending club in the world, have placed Van Persie at the top of their wish list and they could
offer him a staggering £250,000-a-week. The kind of wages that would overwhelm any Arsenal offer in pure cash terms.
But Real believe that Van Persie is unlikely to play for another English club — if he finally decides to leave the Emirates.
Van Persie enjoys iconic status at the club and is captain.
He knows he would break Arsenal fans’ hearts by oving to a rival English club.
Senior Arsenal officials are confident Van Persie will extend his stay if manager Arsene Wenger brings in a cluster of high-profile signings, with the capture of Borussia Dortmund’s exciting youngster Mario Gotze his priority.
But if that master plan fails Van Persie may decide to continue his search for major trophies elsewhere.
And that’s why Real are waiting in the wings, confident they can offer a new challenge abroad that will suit Van Persie more than anything on offer in England

Real Madrid are ready to pip Arsenal to sign Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila.
Arsene Wenger is keen to land the France man, tipped to star at Euro 2012.
The Arsenal manager failed with a £20million bid in the summer but is expected to launch another raid.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
According to CaughtOffside,Arsene Wenger could move for Chelsea pair Alex and Salomon Kalou in January
I just don't understand why we need to sign these two bench warmers...
1.Kalou is out of form, this season and will be in AFCoN during Jan,the precise reasons for which we are in the market for a attacker.
2.Alex is out of form and we are in the market for a full back and not CB...
3.Wenger has denied he is gonna sign Alex according to Goal.
I do hope we sign frontline players and not other club's rejects....

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Robert Pires has recommended Arsenal make a January move for Yoann Gourcuff.
Lyon midfielder Gourcuff, 25, is keen on a move to Arsenal to boost his Euro 2012 hopes.
Arsenal legend Pires told French TV: "I know Arsenal well and it would be ideal for Gourcuff. Arsene Wenger rarely fails to help a player, particularly if they are French.
"He would be perfect for Arsenal's team game and the system of play. He is too much on his own at Lyon."

Arsenal's Marouane Chamakh keen to return to Bordeaux next summer
After a bright start to his Emirates career, the Moroccan has been consigned to the role of a substitute with the Gunners and is keen to avoid spending his peak years on the bench
Frustrated Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh has confirmed his interest in rejoining Bordeaux at the end of the season.
With the Gunners currently playing only one man up front and Robin Van Persie currently in sensational goal-scoring form, Chamakh has been restricted to just six appearances in the Premier League so far this season.
Bordeaux admit Chamakh interestWenger: Chamakh staying put at Arsenal
As a result, the Moroccan feels that he would be best served by a move away from the Emirates, pointing out during an interview with TF1’s 'Telefoot': “I’m 27. I need to play. I cannot stay like this forever.”
When asked if he would consider a move back to France, the striker was unequivocal when it came to naming his preferred destination.
“It would be Bordeaux. I am committed to this club.”
In spite of his current frustration at being consigned to the role of a reserve, Chamakh insisted that he will not push for a move during next month’s transfer window.
"I will not leave in January,” he stated. “[I will make the] important decision in June.”
Chamakh joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Bordeaux last summer, but despite making a positive start to life in north London his form dipped dramatically during the second half of the season and he has been playing a bit-part role ever since.

Sounds like Chamakh is leaving next summer then.
If Van Persie stays fit, Chamakh will barely play again for Arsenal then.
