Arsenal are tracking Borussia Monchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann.
BILD says Gladbach have slapped a €12 million price-tag on Hermann, who has been watched by Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley.
Rowley has taken notes on Hermann while watching Gladbach teammate Marco Reus.
The 20 year-old midfielder has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Theo Walcott, who is being watched by Barcelona.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Lille striker Moussa Sow admits he's keen on a move to England.
Arsenal and Newcastle United are keen on the Senegal international.
"I have a contract signed until June 2013 and Lille want me to sign another contract but the negotiations have stopped," Sow told RMC Sports.
"I don't accept the conditions or the silence from the club. That's not me putting on pressure, just the truth.
"I'm only thinking about football and it's not possible to leave in January.
"But my dream is to play in the Premier League, because you progress as a player with the atmosphere, goals and game.
"I watch the games with envy on TV. I desire to play there one day. Arsenal are a big club. But we will see."

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
The agent of New York Red Bulls defender Tim Ream has revealed Arsenal made an offer for him last year.
Ream is set for trials with Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.
Patrick McCabe said: “There are numerous teams that have been watching Tim for the last two years.
“I won’t comment on specific clubs at this time but they are from England, France, Holland, Scotland and Germany.
“Arsenal did make an offer to purchase Tim at the end of the 2010 season.
“The offer was rejected and no further negotiations followed.
“Red Bull was not interested in selling Tim at that time.”

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Jordy Clasie is set to sign a new contract with Dutch club Feyenoord despite the fact he is being revered by some Premier League clubs.
London rivals Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea are all believed to be showing interest in the 20-year old midfielder but it appears as though he will commit to current club Feyenoord according to technical director Martin van Geel.
“The talks with Jordy are now approaching the final stage," Van Geel told NUSport. "It is now a case of working out the smaller details of the contract."

What about Olic ??.....works hard and can finish if given the chance. He is a bit like Kuyt and Tevez.
He is not been starting for Bayern if we make an offer he will be tempted to come.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Olic's contract runs out at the end of the season, and he wants first team action which is hard with Gomez fit.
Might be tempted, although he's on the old side for a Wenger signing. Would be awesome.
He'll have to go for free, though. Bayern aren't offloading anyone in January with the paper thin squad we have (even worse than Arsenal's).

Arsene Wenger is lining up a stunning £30million January move for German wunderkind Mario Gotze.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Sampdoria are moving for released Arsenal fullback Thomas Cruise.
Cruise remains a free agent since leaving Arsenal at the end of last season and the 20 year-old is now in the sights of Samp sports chief Pasquale Sensibile.
The left-back is set to join Serie B Samp in January as a free agent.
BTW can anyone tell me how our former youth defender Nordveit doing...?

Arsenal and Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Kevin Anin's situation at Sochaux.
The midfielder has fallen out with Sochaux management and appears on his way out of his French club.
Anin had trials at Tottenham two years ago before returning to France.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Martinez is keen on a loan move away.
The Mirror says the 18-year-old Argentinian has starred for the reserves but remains fourth in line for a first-team game, and his advisers have now asked Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to find him a temporary home in the lower divisions.
Martinez is happy to drop down a level or two, just like Arsenal's current No.1 keeper Wojciech Szczesny did when he went on loan to League One side Brentford at a similar age two years ago

Arsenal remain in the frame for Peruvian teen Andy Polo.
The Universitario de Deportes prospect is also wanted by Real Madrid.
But Arsenal may be heartened by Polo's insistence that he wants to join a side who will give him a shot at the first-team.
Polo told Peruvian newspaper Libero: "Spain seems to me a great League. Real Madrid is a possibility but I know I should take it step by step.
"But I have to be realistic and join a team that can give me a chance to show my football. I'm very happy because I think I will be sold to a European team but I am waiting for confirmation from my agent."

Podolski talks up Arsenal as Wenger eyes £20m January move for Germany striker
Lukas Podolski has encouraged Arsenal to keep up their pursuit by describing Arsene Wenger's side as a 'top club'.
Wenger is keen to sign the Germany striker from Cologne for £20million in January amid uncertainty about Robin van Persie's future at the club.
Podolski has been dismayed by his side's poor performances and talks to extend his contract beyond 2013 have stalled.

Asked about Arsenal's interest, the 26-year-old said with a smile: 'Arsenal are a top club. They have a good team and play right at the top level in England.'
Cologne are just five points off the bottom of the Bundesliga after losing four of their last six games.

They are already out of the German cup and are not playing in Europe this season, which is a far cry from the level of club Podolski thought he was joining when he left Bayern Munich in 2009.
Earlier this week he admitted he could his hometown club, saying: 'My family and friends may live here, but if I am in top condition, then I think I could fit into any side in Europe. I am not forced to stay only in Cologne.'
