Juve net Giaccherini boost

There is good news for Juventus on Friday as it was confirmed that Emanuele Giaccherini will resume full training within the next seven days.

The Italian picked up a thigh muscle problem at Vinovo this week, but tests have ruled out any significant damage.

The summer signing from Cesena underwent an ultrasound scan this morning which illustrated just muscle inflammation.

Giaccherini will continue to receive treatment over the next few days before being re-integrated back into the squad.

It’s unclear whether he’ll be fit enough to face Chievo in Week 7 once Serie A resumes after the international break.
