Maicon ?

Apparently Mourinho is still interested in Maicon and we bid 18-20m, Inter wanted 30m. He also proposed a swap between Kaka and Maicon.

I dont know about this one, he is a temporary fix anyways. Id rather have a long term one.

I wouldn't mind him and would actually rather take him for cheap (under 20mil) than bend over to Benfica and take a big risk by converting Coentrao to RB.

Mourinho can get Maicon back to his best. Just like he did with Carvalho and Lucio. It doesn't even matter that he is short term fix since Carvajal will be ready by then.

If we get Maicon to his best, and his age is 28, I say this is a good deal. Maicon is the best RB out in the world once he is at his form.

Ummm.... Coentrao is the same price and he's already wc + getting better. Why would you overpay for Maicon who's already on the other side of the hill and coming down? Makes zero sense at those prices.

20 Million is enough for that washed up player. 20 milion is probably the last big offer they will ever get.

Off the back of his stellar season with the treble, 30M was appropriate enough. Even 20M at this moment seems excessive.

It is Maicon for god's sake. The best RB in the world. This guy knows how we play aswell, and is a beast against Barca. It will be a good deal.

Dani Alves has taken that title of "world's best right back". Maicon is still a quality footballer though who I wouldn't sign. Remember, you may get him a tad bit on the cheap but his wages wouldn't...

30m is good for him. No sarcasm, Maicon is still worlds best he just doesnt have a good team. Alves was better this season though.

It's surprising how people are rating him so low when people were calling him god last season. 1 season affects the players overall quality I suppose then?
