go to ESPN.COM

Pick your team (they have top 4 leagues)...go to Fixtures/Results, then select the game, go to GameCast and opt for Tactical Formation Option. It gives you a crystal idea of the shape of the team, and there are other options for individual player analysis in a certain game. Post your findings.

Example:

Excellent Website for Game Analysis Zveip3

Just at a glance it tells me for example:

- Carragher is playing well too deep and not on the same line as his CB partner and it causes in trouble and invites pressure

- Carroll is basically an AM, and not a ST.

- Kelly played mostly like a winger

- Adam gets in the way of Lucas , and should improve his positional sense.

all from yesterday's game...there are a lot of other options as well...give a try.

Post your findings about your team's game of this week Smile

Yea asked about the heat map on twitter, it's sick as well. Saw it on the valencia vs barca game abn u could see that most of their attacks came from the right because of alves pushing high up the field.

Yeah, ESPN Soccernet GameCast is the ish.

Average position, formation, heat maps, where shots were taken, etc.

Excellent Website for Game Analysis Acmcesena

-Abate and Taiwo are essentially midfielders and when Zambrotta came on he sat much further back than Taiwo

-El Shaarawy and Cassano are essentially playing shoulder-to-shoulder

-On the shot counter, 5 of Milan 10 shots on goal came from the D outside the box

-On the amount of ground covered heat map, Abate and Cassano mowed the lawns they ran that much with Cassano getting possession in almost every area of the pitch in his attacking half whilst Abate covered every meter along the right

Sometimes people could read too much into it though Carrol wasn't an AM.

I think Second Striker is a better word. Much deeper than Suarez and as much involved in build-ups as Suarez..drifting to LW a lot of time too.

I wish they had average positions for time period: like 1-15, 15-30, 30-45, etc etc. That would have been excellent.
