the total 90 series is comfortable to wear but i don't like the outer material
Okay, I'll try them.
I see that many of you rate Adidas a lot, but this season I've realized that they make the boots that are thinner in the middle in the market, so if you have wide feet, they are not an option. Neither if you wear ergonomic insoles.
On another note, I think you people are overating a boots effect on performance. In my 15+ years of playing football, all i've noticed from one boot to another have been diferences in comfort, pain, endurance of the boot, softness/rigidness of the leather and weight. Only a couple of disastrous boots had a negative impact on my game.

Re: What boots do you rock?
I used to be an Addidas man untill my feet got big, then I started wearing Puma's for comfort and since then I was always a Puma man.
I haven't played in a few years though. but if I did go back, it would be back to Puma.

Re: What boots do you rock?
I wear these. Best boots I've ever worn for performance and largely comfort.
I had some troubles, but I blame these on my feet for the most part. I have weird shaped feet. I got bad blisters constantly because of the tight narrow fit, but now I've worn them in its ok. Sometimes they feel a little tight round my right foot because it is slightly bigger, otherwise the narrow fit is OK for me.
I agree with Free mainly... the shoes never make a big difference. However, these are definitely the best shoes I've had (also most expensive).
-Leather is quality and thinner so I can get a softer touch.
-Light, so comfy and help you stay quick on the ball.
-On my predators, I found it difficult often to trap a ball with studs... I don't know what it was but it would often not grip. With these I feel secure (its all in the head, so if you have confidence in your touch because of the boots, you'll play better). Only criticism would be I think there is one too few studs. It feels weird to walk and run on sometimes as if they aren't all supporting your foot.

Re: What boots do you rock?
THC I bought the exact same boots and I didn't like them at all. They seemed to improve my passing a little bit But my shooting was awful with it and I couldn't dribble.I recently bought an F50 and I've been scoring goals and I feel my Dribbling has been much better.

Re: What boots do you rock?
Speaking of Tiempos, I think they are my nr1 boots. The fact that they are comfortable and can be used at any kind of pitch makes me satisfied. Also I like the look, simple yet elegant.

Typical, Ive own them (black ones) but I dont wear them when I play footy. They seem a bit big for me and therefore its a bit clunky to kick the ball around.Nishank wrote:Bought Predators, Not liking them

I have the same problem, Even though they are my size, They feel a bit loose and im not entirely comfortable running with them. I guess they will become a bit bigger as i play in them, so these shoes have been a disaster. F50s fit so much better.

Re: What boots do you rock?
way too old now , but still , flawless and smooth on my feet. Great for running as well , i don't even feel them.
Since Drogba wore them first time in the CL final against Manchester United , i bought them some days later and never looked back.. Awesome shoes , if they were still out , i would buy them again.
Next pair of shoes will continue to be mercurial ; i've always had nike , combines style and quality.

Re: What boots do you rock?
Am I seriously the only one that wears Lotto's?
Lotto's are absolute class, got a pair a couple years ago and haven't switched to a different brand since. They're not flashy, but they're top quality boots.

Puma King Finale.
Best boots I've ever owned. And I've owned the Drogba Mercurials a few posts above, Predators and early F50's. Love them to bits, everytime I buy a pair of boots from now on they will be Puma Kings.

Re: What boots do you rock?
I need help choosing cleats here.........
I am deciding between Tiempos, CTR's and F50's.
I currently own these for a year.......
So which ones should i get? I play usually as an RM, but also as a CM. Which cleats do you prefer out of these?
Based on....
Comfort
Sizing
Passing
Quality
Do they last long

Re: What boots do you rock?
Wearing a Tiempo at the moment, but this will change very soon as my PUMA KING FINALE I is on its way to my warm, comforting feet. I am expecting great things from this pair of boots.

Re: What boots do you rock?
So we start preseason in a few weeks and i'm looking at getting a new pair of boots. I've done a bit of research and from what I can find I'm interested in getting either the Adipures or CTR360 Maestri II/I.
I talked to one friend who highly recommended the Adipure boots so I was set on them, the next day I talked to another mate who told me the Maestri II boots were the best he'd worn.
Could anybody advise me on either of these boots? I'm going to see if I can find some in some local stores to try on but chances arn't high, it's hard to find good boots in Aus

Stay away from any Nike boots Iz.
I had the Maestri's and they not only broke down in less then 4 months but those pads that are the trademark of the boots completely are destroyed even by simple pass and move football over a small time period. Overall the boot has a solid shot on it and is comfortable but...
I've bought every single Adipure year after year now and I've worn them all. For some odd reason its cheaper then the Mercurials despite having K-leather rather then plastic crap, being ergonomically more comfortable, better quality, better touch and just all round the best boot aside from Lotto's which build themselves on quality.
If it helps, Frank Lampard wears Adipures and most footballers prefer these boots.

Re: What boots do you rock?
I really want a pair of pantofola d'oro boots. Some of them seem classy as hell and I heard good things.
Too expensive for me though, I cant pay that much if im only playing 2 to 3 a week at the most. Normally just once.

Re: What boots do you rock?
Thanks for posting, Arq, I'm currently at work and pressed for time. I bought the CTR and was not a fan of the boot; I don't really have anything good to say about them. I would opt to play in my Adipure, but we don't have many grass fields in New York.

Re: What boots do you rock?
Cheers for the feedback guys. I had read somewhere that they did tear/breakdown rather quickly and I usually only get a pair every 2 years.
Which Maestri's did you have Arq? II or III? I'll try track down some adipures today to try on

Different colors?
I used 2 Nikes before I switched to Adidas and I haven't looked back. So far from what I've noticed, for me, I find it much easier to control the ball now. I don't know why but compared to the Mercurial I had before, high lobbed passes are a bit difficult for me now.

Soul, I started with Adidas and while I enjoyed their boots, they just did not agree with my feet. I since have switched to the Nike Tiempo (one boot I will definitely sign off on).

I'm leaning towards these atm:
Will probably do a bit more reading before ordering.
