Meh, we started our adult co-ed soccer league tonight and I had a guy go to ground (not allowed) and hit me in the shin cleats up, and I got no call from the ref. Now I have an ice pack and two giant black and blue bumps on my leg.

Oh, and size 12.

Probably a good call, but good luck knocking me over, I just stood there and took it and the guy ended up face down in the mud.

Must say a slide tackle feels as good as scoring a goal tbh. Especially when it leads to a goal.

Ffs the grounds we play at are shite, My butt gets scratched every time i slide.

Our fields are typically really nice, but we played last night on essentially freshly laid sod after 4 days of torrential rain. There was standing water below the barely cut grass, and it just felts like you had been running already and were starting to get that heavy legs feeling.

http://www.soccercleats101.com/reviewscores/ (very simple layout, I like this site because it allows you to quickly see things like the weight of the cleat, the original and current price, but the rating system can be kind of general to a degree).
