I haven't played football in ages either, combination of working night shift (won't be soon) and doing other exercise and not having the energy to run about chasing 10 stone pace whore pos around the midfield

Nah. All my life I used to play for my school. But I skipped my last year at high school in order to focus on academic.
I guess I could try out for these local clubs around town, but I don't know what their whole process is. Might just wait until I get into a uni to get back into playing.

growing up, adidas and pumas was what you were looking for, those were the real deals. there was a brand named hi tech, had a horizontal f shaped logo, that was what i wore as it was the cheapest , and unfortunately very uncomfortable. football boot game changed for the better in 98, so did the jersey game...ronaldo doesn't get enough props but he and nike really took the boot game to another level, even before beckham. the r9's he wore in 1998 revolutionized the cleat game in footy. and i don't use the word 'revolutionized' loosely

Some old Nike Total 90s from like 5 years ago. Fit my feet like a glove and the grooves on the inner part of the upper allow me to strike the ball hard and curve it much easier. A great investment though they are now starting to finally come apart.

I've moved on to Adidas Copa Mundials. Classic. Great feel and they haven't done me wrong thus far, I love them

I've tried everything from Puma to Nike and more recently Adidas.

At the end of the day it is all in the feet, but I love my Adidas Predators. They make me feel better in them and that is important.

Adidas F50 were always my choice.

These were my favourite although I never actually got them. I don't even think they were available tbh since they were a one off exclusive for Messi
