Re: Manchester City Prepared to bid 30 m for ROBIN VAN PERSIE
He's not going, especially to MC atm. But of course, these news only remind us fans how some of the guys need to pen their deal quick. Song, Sagna, RVP all need to extend their contract sooner than later. Loyalty only gets you that far in this money driven business.

Now see here, Song doesn't come from an extremely successful club that constantly jibes him in the media.Jamin wrote:no, cause he's saying that Song owes us.
its as if Fabregas didnt owe us.

That's not true. People forgot when Fab joined us, Arsenal was top of the world, just got double, invisible while Barca was in deep shit, plus he earned 10 times more. The decision was not a difficult one. A lots of people think that he jumped ships twice, especially hardcore cule. If Barca was not as successful as currently, would he still want to join them based on his "supposed DNA"?

No, what I mean is that he wouldn't have gone back to Barca if they were playing like crap.Twoism wrote:beatrixasdfghjk. wrote:Now see here, Song doesn't come from an extremely successful club that constantly jibes him in the media.Jamin wrote:no, cause he's saying that Song owes us.

I think we all know how loyal Van Persie is to the club, but it's best that we don't put him in a position where his loyalty and his patience is tested. Give him the raise and contract he deserves and conclude this before it becomes an actual problem.
Btw, LOL @ City.

January we must sign players that shows the guys we want to be a top team. We have the money and should spend it, we need at least 2 quality players.
I still cant see RVP leaving us, no way, *bleep* man city.
well said...we need to sign some quality players on january in order to show some intent.

I don't see Wilshere leaving any time soon. He's not at Arsenal on the pretence than we're going to be a successful club. He's here because he's come up through the youth academy, which breeds a stronger sort of loyalty. As long as Arsenal are still playing European football I'm very doubtful he'll leave. Even if we aren't winning trophies at the moment, we're still the third biggest club in England.
We shouldn't assume that all of our better players are just going to up and leave when things aren't going well, either. Spurs and Liverpool haven't been that successful in the same time and yet they've held on to a lot of their best players.

Very interesting business plan from City, buy all strikers in the EPL to make sure no other team has the strike force to get the title.
Too bad Mancini will still play 3 DM regardless

I agree but his loyalty hasn't been tested yet when quality teams come and offer you ridiculous amount of money and a better chance to win trophies anyone will think twice.... example stevie g and Patrick viera.
