is Ronaldo even a winger really, He attacks like a winger and defends like a striker, Nani is a few notches below Ronaldo but he will be there soon enough. He is far off messi though, Messi is in a different league, the only players that come close to Messi are Iniesta, Pirlo and Cleverley

No not at all^^. He has pace, added strength to his game, his assists ratio is crazy good atm, almost assisting a goal per game and has added goals to his game since last season. Can score with both feet which makes him unpredictable when a facing a full back.

He is the epitome of a modern day World class winger and I think he is the best right now.

Robben is great and he single handedly got Bayern to final 2 seasons ago, but right now, Nani is above him.

Nani being better than Ribery is debatable actually but saying things like "Playing on a different level" is exagerration at its finest..

Ronaldo being good at dribbling is a myth that needs to be dispelled, much like his free kick specialist tag.

Everytime i see him get the ball, i mistaken him as ronaldo when he used to play there during the 42goal season. I think Nani has great potential. He is really good, just needs to dribble more, take on players more often, be more courageous.

He has having a great great season so far. He was great against Chelsea wich was was the last game i saw him play. (missed the stoke game)

He is already on par with Ronaldo imo. in two seasons he will be better.

In and out of form? Robben's only long term injury was the post World Cup one and apart from that he maintains his form as if he's never injured. Ribéry has been in good form, as if he were 25 again ever since last season. Nevermind his current form, which you'll see against the City game.

Listen people, I am the last person to want to defend Ronaldo, but if you are comaping Nani to Ronaldo you're crazy.

Don't forget that Nani is a total no show in the Champions league. Last year was his best to date and he played 9 champions league games and had 1 goal and 0 assists. If Ronaldo did that you would kill him.

His best ever return is 13 goals and 17 assists in 50 games, which is very good for a winger, but nowhere near Ronaldo when he played in a VERY SIMILAR positioon for Man U. Again if Ronaldo did that you would call him a total flop.

Now, for Ronaldo's numbers while playing in the same position in the same system on the same team in his best year.

48 games started with 43 goals and 8 assists.

In that year the Champions league, 13 games started with 9 goals and 1 assist.

Just to compare, in Nani's career with Manchester United who notoriously get easy draws in the Champions League Nani has started 31 games with 3 goals and 6 assists in 4 years. That is pathetic.

I don't even need to put up Ronaldo's or Messi's. Nani is not a big game player and until he starts to do it on the big stage people comparing him to Ronaldo really need to chill out.

Ronaldo is an all time great and Nani wil never be such a prolific goalscorer, BUT, he is mesmerizing and has the "raw talent" of Messi. Ronald has the greatest combo "goalscoring intuition" and athleticism than any player on the planet! My opinion, anyhow!

For what it's worth, Nani's physique, is now on Ronaldo's level!!
