Borja valero vs Modric

i would say Borja valero by far,modric was underated before the last season.Now he is kinda overated.
Borja had a wonderful season and got the deserved spanish NT call.

Throw ball-Borja by a certain amount
Possession keeping and match control-borja by far
Long balls-May be equal but no way Modric wins.
Dribbling-almost equal
"overatedness"-Modric by far
Better passer-Valero
Better defensive display-Modric

who do you think is better player?

Modric for me. Borja is underrated by all of the football world except Adit, who grossly overrates him. When you said 'by far', I just loled... Modric is a great player as well.

Borja is a good playmaker and I'd take him at Real Madrid, however overall I think Modric is better.

Borja is a good playmaker, but that doesn't make him a great player.

If that was the case Danny Murphy would have played for Man Utd or Arsenal instead of Fulham Laughing

Too much emphasis on being able to pass sideways and backwards, it doesn't make someone a great player. It's a good platform to make someone a good player but that's about it.

The fact the brilliant Borja, couldn't save Villarreal from relegation says enough.

Yea you really looked technical against Bilbao, Barcelon and Bayern and even Ajax were better on the ball. Madrid score on the counter for like 90% of their goals. Technical football Laughing

How is Real madrid built on defense btw?

We play with out DMs and super attacking full back. Our forward players are super attacking minded as well. We are far from your typical mou team.

Counter attacks? well that is because we have Ronaldo who Ferguson ruined and play better in counter attacking system. :coffee:

Obvioulsy the ferguson part was supposed to be a half joke. I think Ronaldo wouldve been alot better in the link up plays had he started his career in La liga imo.Look at how much he improved in team play after he joined real.
