Maybe, but to be fair he is 32 not 38...He might not be a young bull anymore but he's certainly not a grandfather either

Well, there's a reason he went to the MLS and not another top league. He might just be lazy and want the cash without too much effort or fame.

Watching NYRB-RSL Shocked

Salt Lake put 3 past them in like the first 18 minutes...have been on cruise control since

NYRB Getting absolutely battered at home

Marquez and Ream are just.....

They are both god awful

@nicholasrosano
Nicholas Rosano
I will take this opportunity to point out that Rafa Marquez's 2011 guaranteed compensation is $1,278,305.24 greater than the whole RSL team.

I can't imagine New York will keep him for another season

Haha you'll have to forgive me I always forget - you a Chivas or a Galaxy fan?

I want to say Galaxy but im not sure...

I don't really watch much Galaxy cause the west coast games are on so late, but from what I've heard he's been quietly having his best season in MLS by far this season - do you not agree with that assessment?

Galaxy, man. No way would I aligned myself to anything Chivas.

Yeah he's doing well as is the rest of the team. Magee's coming through for us as well.

Pretty similar to last season where we choked at the final.

Yeah they are nutty up there - but to be honest I think Portlands support is much better than Seattles...

Seattle has the numbers but Portlands fans are awesome...Have you seen their Tetris chant?

that timbers video is pretty sick, im a TFC fan, are numbers have dropped off due to shitty performance and increase season ticket prices with the same shit product....team seems to be making a turn tho right now, Aron Winters philosophy is starting to show, and we have brought in some quality players. we still get good support just not like the first 2-3 years the romance has died and its time for a quality team.

I don't understand what is going on with the Red Bulls defense... I mean Tim Ream actually makes a lot of really good defense plays... But he just falls apart at the drop of the hat! its so weird. Most inconsistent MLS defender. The Red Bulls I think have scored like the second most goals out of any team in the league yet they only have seven wins.

If I was Thierry Henry I think I would be ready to explode from frustration

Marquez at his peak was world class.

You must have a short term memory if you are honestly wondering why he made it at Barca....

Or Mexico. 🐘

I wouldn't mind him at America. Plus we need another CB. He'd be perfect.
