If he wasn't in his last year of his contract then he's worth around 12-15m. I think Arsenal might get tempted and Clichy might want a new challenge.

Why would Clichy come to us from Arsenal . I cant see this happeing unless he had a bust up with Wenger and wants to go . He might be using us as a bait to get a better deal . Though would love to see this happen .

Having said that they did sell Toure to City . So its not that unlikely as it sounds .

Clichy seem to have stagnated at Arsenal. maybe looking for a new challenge?

Having said that, he is nowhere the level of his 07-08 season when he was one of world's finest, but he has raw pace and is still young...and Steve Clarke could teach him a thing or 2.

If he really wants a new challenge going abroad to another CL seems the likely option . He might be suffering from loss of form but still of the best in League IMO .

The only way i can see him coming to us is if Comolli has some contacts with him and persuades to join as on a bigger contract . Still seems very unlikely to me .
