really? well Hiugain didn't have any chances because he created none. He was invisible for the last 35 mins despite have Ozil and CR7 next to him while Benz had Kaka (who sucked), Coentrao playing winger (sucked as well) and Di Maria (no need to comment) on the other side. Every efficiency stat out there shows that Benz is one of the most efficient strikers in the world... but i guess that's still not good enough. Problem is that he's only getting 3 shots a game. Either he's perfect or he doesn't score. He also created more goalscoring chances coming into the Levante game for his teammates than any other Madrid player (10 to Ozil's 9).

Do you know how many sitter CR7 has missed this year in La Liga and Cl? 3. So i guess he sucks too. Difference is that CR7 is averaging 11 shots a game... so his sometimes selfish play allows him to redeem himself.

Don't get all your panties twisted in a bunch Sport. Benzema isn't gonna get benched any time soon, you know this...

however, firstly higgy had to play with an injured ronaldo and an ozil playing deeeeepp, who was going to create his chances as he is more like a poacher than a creator himself

also in the first half before khedira got red carded, levante didnt dare leave their area which made real too comfortable and marcelo and coentrao could just bomb forward without getting caught out of position

also benzemas misses wasnt any kind of misses it was sure goal misses if you know what i mean and those are the kind of misses you cant make against a stubborn side, dont get me wrong i think coentrao is at fault as well for his miss

difference between benzema and ronaldo is that ronaldo misses sitters in games he scores in. i havent seen him miss easy chances against a team we havent been able to beat

Not this discussion again. But just wanna point out something, benzema would get 3 or so shots in a game, and people would expect him to score each time.

It's a ridiculous number for a CF to begin with, no need to have such high expectations. Benzema isnt the issue, other players are, it's needless to pick on people actually playing well in general.

Di Maria shouldnt be out there, and neither should Carvalho.

one of Benz misses was bad... the second one, he was shooting a lefty volley sideways from outside the box that had to lob the goaltender and defender (not easy).

It was not a good half for Benz. I admit it. But he's been the shining light with CR7 since the beginning of the training camp and the year. Ozil, Di Maria and Coentrao have been meh by their standards for the most part. Marcelo and Xabi have been off at times too etc.

CR7 went about a month and a half last year where he couldn't hit the side of a barn and we lost/tied a couple of games as a result.

I don't get the criticism honestly for someone who is contributing with everything, not just goals.

In fact, we lost a game. Usually for us, that means several players were meh, as was the case against Levante. I don't think we've ever had a perfect season. If it becomes a consistent problem, then we should of course criticize everyone. To me, that game was an aberration.

however. id like to point out something when ronaldo is meh, he is meh overall.....the passing, the dribbling the shooting(if he evens gets any shots from inside the box)

i just dont think for the standard of our strikers that they should make no name keepers look world-class with their poor finishings. its just not on
