Siena aware of Pirlo danger

Siena attacking midfielder Franco Brienza insists his side must keep Andrea Pirlo quiet if they hope to beat Juventus.

The two teams meet in Tuscany on Sunday and Brienza, 32, fears the inspiration of the Italian international.

“I would, without doubt, take Pirlo out of the Juventus team,” the former Palermo and Reggina man told Itasportpress.

“From what we saw in their game against Parma on Sunday, he’s the player who shines the light for them.”

Pirlo, who arrived on a free transfer from Milan in the summer, set up two of Juve’s goals in their 4-1 success.

Brienza is also keen to win the game given that they’ll be facing new Juventus boss Antonio Conte just months after he left Siena for Turin.

“Conte did a lot for this club and I want to thank him for taking us back into Serie A,” he added. “However, we’ll try to trip him up at the weekend.

“I wish him all of the best on the Bianconeri bench, but we want to beat him on Sunday by using the weapons at our disposal.”

so what? at the end of the day it wouldnt count for squat.

This Juve team is too strong to be stopped, as long as they play Conte's pressing game and play for each other as a team they wont have any problems surpassing their goals this season. Yeh they know about Pirlo being a danger but that dont mean they can stop him

Conte won't be stupid and play the exact same tactics .. Ofcourse there will be changes

Everyone knows how Barca plays too.. Still none is stopping them.. Dude, your point here is without meaning.. Juve have the better players Siena ever had and so Siena will not beat Conte for simply having watched our parma game on video and knowing his tactics and thoughts? he might have adjusted these a trillion times after he took over our club?

They know Conte's tactics but they dont know playerss' abilities
