You jelly that LFC ain't got a young English quality mf of his calibre? It's understandable.
Er, what? 0.o
And of course! When Tom Cleverley plays, it's better than sex!!!
It sure is..
Anyways, let's stop derailing the thread. It should be a good game on Sunday.

That's a tough question for a Liverpool supporter...
I'm sure you'll understand that we generally don't want United to succeed in the league (not trying to instigate a fight, just stating what should be obvious). Therefore, I will generally root for any team playing United. Especially with United and City only separated by goal differential atm, any loss on United's part makes it all the more likely that City will win the league. However, Chelsea are currently in 4th, and any team hoping for a Champions League place will need to overtake them. Therefore, I suppose I will be pulling for a United win this week.
Really, I just want to see an entertaining, high-scoring match. I would really like to see 'Nando have another good performance and score. None of that missing a wide open net crap.
Oh, and Hendo could so steal Cleverly's lunch money, stuff him in a locker and kick his dog.

That's pretty much it. Supporting your team>>>not wanting a rival to win. Especially if by that rival winning, means it benefits you in the league.
Same situation when it was City v LFC in the league. I was rooting for LFC.

Howard webb is the referee most probably, God the new BBC site sucks.

Hoping for a draw, but most likely United will win by at least two goals.

Trust a United fan to generalise an entire fanbase in an unfair, and more importantly wrong, way.Gladiator wrote:Trust Liverpool fans to ruin this thread...
Does that make sense? No? Then perhaps you now see the flaw in your own post...

United has not won at the Stamford Bridge in the league, since 2002 their record stands at 6 defeats and three draws. Interesting stats.

Re: Manchester United vs Chelsea - Predictions?
Come now. That's just a poor argument. First, you describe Gladiator as a sarcastic spammer, and claim that we jumped on his post because Liverpool fans supposedly have a predilection for sensitivity. Then, and most offensively, you support the self-acknowledged "sarcastic spammer" while making light of one of the darkest days in Liverpool's history. I suggest you sort out your argument prior to approaching the keyboard and refrain from the Hillsborough references. The latter practice tends not to make many friends...cyberman wrote:Liverpool fans have got to stop with the victim mentality. Re: Manchester United vs Chelsea - Predictions?
Heavy snow in London, game will def get cancelled ffs.
I know it's not chelsea's decision, but with them, just like last season when we were meant to play them, suffering from poor form, had key players missing, it's just so lucky for them damn it.
Never had a better chance to break our poor results at SB than tomorrow, and now the game will most lkely get called off.

Re: Manchester United vs Chelsea - Predictions?
I'm pulling for Man U.
I don't see Spurs taking the league and I'd rather make sure that #3 spot or at the very least (if spurs have a major fall) #4 spot is everything but guaranteed.
Guess I wouldn't mind a tie either

Re: Manchester United vs Chelsea - Predictions?
I said a few weeks ago after Sunderland played Chelsea that I didn't think there was a problem with Torres.
Their main issue was players having wild shots at the goal and not passing to Torres.
However for this game with Lindergard injured and DeGea in goal I think it could work in Chelses favour. He seems to have a particular problem saving shots from outside the box.

Re: Manchester United vs Chelsea - Predictions?
Although its not fair on united I really hope this game gets called off cause if the snow, as poor as yaniteds midfield is if we play a mid of merelis-romeu-malouda we'll get flogged, especially with no cashley and apparently no JT, can someone tell me what's the story with him?

Knee injury as far as I know.
And yeah it's to our benefit that we don't play. If Malouda plays another game in midfield I think i'll strangle myself, he's hopeless.
