Hey Rossoneris
I really hope u guys can get all 3 point tomorrow vs Barcelona.
I know it's gonna be hard but I am gonna be behind u guys 100%
I am tired of people saying that Italian football is lacking or failing & u guys are currently the fore front of Italian football plus if Inter could destroy them in 2009, then Milan should find it easy.
Best Of Luck from a Juventus Man..
Oh! BTW....alot of u guys might think I am hating but on a serious note, if you guys want to win tomorrow
DO NOT PLAY PATO!!! THE MAN IS GARBAGE!!!
He can only play good when his team is control & dominating as seen vs Napoli last season where he played very well(the best I ever seen from him).
Versus Barca, where they will have most of the possession, Pato won't be any help. (as seen vs Lazio)

Not the best way to wish us luck as your statement above pretty much classifies your thread as a fail.

Re: Hey Rossoneris
I know some of u were gonna take it personal...
but from a mutual perspective, not from a Juventus or Milan view...
did u watch the match vs Lazio?
He came on in the 2nd half around 74 mins to a already tired defence & what did he do?
He took no shot, touch the ball maybe twice or did he made any pass?
Now just think...he was playing vs Lazio, he came on in the second half
what real effect could have against Barcelona?

Ofcourse let's judge Pato from the first game of the season ... I'll tell you one thing , a sh1t of a player isnt the youngest to ever score 50 goals in 100 games .

Re: Hey Rossoneris
First of all, thank you.
On Pato, our entire team was exhausted by that stage, we didn't have the movement to support Pato and Lazio were defending deep with plenty of bodies, hardly indicative of the game Pato will be facing in the Camp Nou. He barely had a pre-season given how long he was on holiday after the Copa America. Not to mention the fact that we have two strikers available for the match, I hardly think we'll be playing Cassano as a centre forward.

Re: Hey Rossoneris
The difference between Lazio and Barcelona is that Barca are a WINNING team
Lazio, for the caliber of team they are, knew a draw was a good result for a match against Milan and settled for a defensive end to the game
Barcelona, however, will look for less than a win and hence, they will be attacking more from start to finish than Lazio. This style of play is of course more open to counter-attacks, where Pato thrives

Re: Hey Rossoneris
Um, I know this wasn't supposed to be a Pato-bashing and/or Pato-defending thread, but there's one personal experience I need to share to help clear things up.
I play Futsal with my buddies on Fridays (the weekend in Islamic countries).
I'm naturally a very speedy player and I try to dribble past players at top speed as I'm not that skillful.
So, despite the small size of the place we play in, I try to play it my way and many of my buddies complain that since it is Futsal, I should decrease the needless pace and add to my technique and constant movement.
When we pick our teams, sometimes out of bad luck, I get surrounded by slower teammates, and things get ugly.
Suddenly I'm a pain in the ass to my teammates, neither me nor they can't play properly and I'm all alone because I don't suit their more static style.
But as soon as I get to join a faster team, I'm the star (more or less) and they get the best out of me.
Point is, Pato was at his most lethal when accompanied by Kaka, a lightning-fast fantasista whose most famous attribute was running at defenders with frightening pace and drive, which suited Pato's style of play really well and at the age of 19, Alexandre scored 19 goals in 36 league matches.
To have a 100% Pato, we need to put at least one fast player next to him.
What game in last season showed Pato's enormous talent the most? I know you will agree, the return leg against Inter, where and when he was supported by Robinho and Boateng.
Boy, did Pato hit their defence hard from right and left.
Instead, he USUALLY doesn't do wonders next to Ibra, because our no.11 doesn't play fast, despite having lots of pace in his giant legs.
If Pato was in Barcelona, he would become the best forward in the world, because with Messi, Alexis and Pedro next to him, he would thrive man, simply thrive like never before.
There I said it.
Thanks for the thread Cotes, and thanks for swearing at my favorite player.

Absolutely. Pato and Robinho should play together against the top teams, and Ibra featuring Cassano against most Serie A teams. I think this would suit everyone actually.

OK...I guess I owe Pato an apology
as he proved me wrong today
I am so glad he did though but he still ain't one of the better AC Milan players in *my* eyes..
