Ranocchia and Bonucci ... those CBs were the next wc CBs to come out of Italy. In the winter of 2009-early 2010 you heard a about them. I understand they have moved on to bigger clubs , but they are not talked about by foreign journos that don't follow Serie A.

enzo maresca... guy was tremendous for sevilla, so hardworking.. i always liked how much effort he put on any club he played for. the last time i know anything about him he went to greece. now i dont even know where he is or how he is doing until i saw in wiki that he is a malaga player???

Ryan Babel is actually doing well for himself at Hoffenheim. He gets regular playing time and has been performing well.
