Rate GoalLegacy's members understanding and knowledge of football as a whole (avg)
Re: How would you rate the overall footballing intelligence of GoalLegacy?
It's full of stupid knee-jerking. After every single result posters make presumptions about the future based on that single result.
After a every good game, a player is the best in the world, after every bad game he's past it.
Let's face it, this forum is entertaining but the intelligene and maturity level is incredibly low.

I will give it 8 although there ain't much Bayern fan, but I also met wonderful poster like Sushi Master, Babun, Mole, Serge Gnabry, rwo power, Geo, Leo and Podolski best fan ever.
People shouldn't think they are smarter than others, or take things too seriously when the other person is just messing around.

Re: How would you rate the overall footballing intelligence of GoalLegacy?
People might get the wrong image, specially right after matches and all the knee jerk threads, but really, we have some great intelligent people here. Sure, there are some guys who really talk out of their ass, but they are limited. An average 6 for me.
The knee jerk threads are all done by some very intelligent posters, if you notice. We are all just a very merry bunch, no shame in that. It's a game, after all, we're not discussing politics.

Yeah, the whole point is not to look smart. Most people just play a parody on the recent trend of knee jerking. Or troll threads, whatever you want to call them. You really shouldn't take them seriously.Serge Gnabry wrote:Sushi Master wrote:

This forum gets a solid 7 for contribution for me and a 9 in fun factor
Every relationship has at least two people involved. If there's a conflict then both sides have issues to an extent The possibility of all others being stupid compared to you is quite low

4-6 imo. There is some very knowledgable posters who know their football, but they are outweighed by too much posters who post nothing but meme's, gifs and troll comments as responces instead of actually challenging someone's views.

Re: How would you rate the overall footballing intelligence of GoalLegacy?
I think there is a large difference between posters discussing their club in the privacy of their section (usually quite intelligent, decent level discussion), their club in the general section (TRAGEDY, especially any Serie A or Real/Barca discussion, because everyone trolls) and general section discussion on other elements of football/clubs you are neutral about (quite high level again, usually intelligent discussion, unless people don't know what they are talking about at all).
I am quite an annoying and stupid poster in the general section to others, I suppose, because I do tend to troll at times, and I think many posters do that.
Average a 7 or so though, because many people do know what they are talking about, not only their own club too.

I don't come here to have engaging football discussions (although I've had a few and they were great to take part in.)
I come here because it's fun.

I think if new poster comes here he will not go anywhere, because probably its the most active football forum on the net. and thats thanks to goal.com which is popular thanks to its domain name. lucky guys i would not sell that domain name for 1 million dollars

@ Che and Serge;
If you actively contribute to the intelligence of this forum instead of acting like a pair of smart asses then the forum wouldn't be as "stupid", wouldn't it.

On topic, 6-7 before I came in. 6-7.1 after
