I'm quite comfortable here. The only strength of goal.com over GL is the mobile version.

Goal Legacy

Goal.com was 10x more active, and the General Section

i cant even remember what goal.com forums were like any more since its been so long but i miss the fact that there was always new posters.

thats the biggest problem, and sometimes the biggest success of GL- not having the massive influx of new posters daily.

maybe if this forum could be linked from some other football website similar to goal.com..

Only positive Goal.com had over GL was the steady increase in members. Other than that, GL is superior in every way.

Goallegacy is better by a mile.

More posters doesn't = better quality as the Mods have done a fantastic job of adhering to their own principle and rules and have kept a forum with some fantastic debates along with its flexible infrastructure. Goal.com was just a cesspool of trolls and post hit men.

Plus the steady increase of new posters is excellent for one that is less then a year old. Plus, since GL got its own domain name its only a matter of time before individuals who yearn for General football forums stumble their way upon this one.

Best Multi-Purpose football forum on the internet right now without a doubt.

I agree as the ramifications of switching forums has cost us of some great posting personalities.

For a while I was still partial to the Goal.com forums, but Goal Legacy has clearly overtaken it at this point. Also, match day chat

I miss some of the old posters as Mole said, Giu, Droit, jok sa, and many others I don't feel like listing through, but putting that aside...

I like goallegacy, but the character I created here is hated by so many people, that wasn't my intention.

On the plus side, it seems like the baboons finally fixed the glitchy commenting system they had so it's no longer a random lottery

Those marricons decided to close the brilliant forum and replace it with an "All new and revolutionary comment and feedback system"

But all we get is Africans giving out their numbers and addresses to managers to scout their talent. I don't even have to mention how 98% of it is just a reason to rant and troll

Brings back nostalgia Lithium forums were awesome but Goallegacy is by far the best.

Haha, that has been my moto in the forums over the years.

I have been a member of Goal.com ever since the first forums. Goal.com was great but posters often got out of hand and many problems were caused, moreover, many people joined everyday and it was difficult to keep track with threads. On the other hand, Goal legacy is more organized and the Mods are really good, although I would've liked if there were about 500 more members that would post regularly. I also miss some posters from the Goal.com forums.
