muller vs benzema

my first vs. thread. I think muller is the better player overall.

I vote muller because he gives a lot of assists on top of scoring and for his WC performance

Mueller is not consistent at all. He wasn't in "top" form last season, but which Bayern player was? Still got goals and assists.

Benezema is a great player, but overrated (I'd still take him at Arsenal). But Mueller is just a beast. Isn't the most technical player but he just rapes you with his mind. Opens up spaces, annoys defenses, wins penalties and can also score if you put your guard down. Very underrated passer too, IMO. Isn't made of glass and has 5 lungs, can run all game.

I'm not overrating him here, though.

From what i've seen from him in WC he was faster than Benzema. you follow Benzema ? he isn't fast all, although running with the Ball Benzema doesn't lose his speed. this is because of his great ball control.

You better see some Real Madrid games. Benzema's link up play is awsome. he barely misplace passes.

Benzema for me all bias aside.

Better dribbling, finishing, speed, strength and technique. As someone said above Muller has better intelligence and that is about it, maybe better passing too.

benzema isnt faster or passes better. muller is complete play with super brains and attitude. he is not just intelligent, he is a lot more intelligent than benzema. he is cocky, not docile like benzema.

Give me Müller any day of the week.

Benzema is, on his day, capable of sheer brilliance and awe-inspiring skills. He's also a better overall finisher than Müller. However, he relies too much on his skills and form for my liking.

Müller may not be capable of the moments of brilliance that Benzema is, but with his in-game intelligence and the vision and movement that come with it he'll be able to add something to the side even when he isn't in the best of form. He doesn't need to outplay the opponents every time (even though he is capable of doing so at times), he can simply out-THINK the opponents when the fancy skills and shots aren't working. As such, I think that over the course of a tournament and certainly over the course of a season, Müller offers far more for a team.

Well, if you looked at the difference Müller made yesterday when he was subbed in for the last 30 minutes, you see that he is a highly important, intelligent and match-deciding player. For me he wins.

She means attitude wise. Mueller always gives 100%, has awesome workrate and teamwork abilities, while Benzema sometimes just drags along and is too dependant on mood and form.

Mueller's final pass is great, an underrated thing.
