If the club had any clue, they'd make signing him to a new contract their top priority in the coming months. Unfortunately, the most obvious of things fly completely over their heads.

I think Sturridge is the one unwilling to extend his contract, i don't blame him it is absolutely criminal the lack of playing time he has gotten this season. Injuries hasn't helped either, so freaking unlucky.

Sad to say it, but if he wants to fulfill his potential he will have to go elsewhere.

I do believe he would have been once he gets fit had Robbie still been with us. With FSW now in, El Zero will be starting every match from now til season's end.

I kinda disagree, for some reason RDM never rated Sturridge. He barely played under RDM in contrast to the playing time he had under AVB for example.

I think Danny playing time can only increase under Rafa.

You really think Rafa's going to pick Studge ahead of El Ladyboy?

Rafa at the very least will rotate more. I think it will surprise people how much playing time Sturridge will get under the new manager.

Trust me If Torres doesn't improve, i expect him to get benched a lot sooner then people think. Rafa needs result immediately, and he has seen Torres at his best i don't think it will take him that much for him to realize that he is past it.

Obviously my statement is not taking any consideration what will happen in January transfer window.

OT: Clifford and Saville could also be heading on loan most likely to the Championship division.
