Pato and aliens have same thing in common, you always hear about them but never see them.

Re: What is a pato?
When I saw "overrated", I thought about Aguero lol.
Right now Pato is Van Persie, great striker with potential, but injuries following him.
His ratio though still is 0.5. That playing SS/Winger+injuries.
He gets the job done and if you watch him, you can see he doesn't choke in almost all games (big ones included).
People claim that Aguero and Benzema are next big things in football, though they ve been far more inconsistent and more pricy. I take Pato out of 3 any day of the week.
However, talking about Pato becoming new R9 is too early yet

Re: What is a pato?
People stated here on forums that they watch 1 league (most EPL fans), yet they are talking about players from other leagues. What's up with that?

Re: What is a pato?
We are still waiting for Pato to make the last step up and score many goals in Europe and in Serie A, but his injuries may forever put an end to that. It is ofc better to win than him alone scoring a billion goals for pure fun though, we have other goalscorers in Ibra and Robinho etc.
I dont know how someone could compare anyone with Messi at the moment, what a bunch of crap.
Also, nearly all youngsters below 20 who score a few goals in the biggest leagues will be overrated, its that simple, so just get used to it

Re: What is a pato?
not sure if serious......
the guy has spent the entire season injured and scored just as many goals as ibra +destroyed napoli and inter so we could grab the scudetto.
Hes not overrated, neither WC,hes just an awesome player.Im sure he would get WC status once he gets an injury free season

Re: What is a pato?
Well, in the friendly Germany - Brazil three weeks ago he was not exactly outstanding (but then, the whole Brazil team wasn't exactly convincing). I think time will have to tell. I hope the boy doesn't collect more injuries and thus can get a bit more consistent.

Re: What is a pato?
He's the youngest player to ever score 50 goals in Italy ... And that's with mostly being a winger and getting injured !

Re: What is a pato?
Pato is awesome.. His injuries just slowed his progress down that's all.. He is at an age where you are supposed to be developing and polishing your game, but when it gets interrupted due to injuries it slows you down obviously
When he has been injury free for a long period he played very well imo

Re: What is a pato?
One vert important point w that is forgotten is Pato played under three different coaches with three different mentalities and 3 totally different roles, and this certainly didnt help his progress.

You also have to look at the quality of the league when he scored those 50 goals.pUsHa wrote:He's the youngest player to ever score 50 goals in Italy ... And that's with mostly being a winger and getting injured !
