Re: Would you have Pato back?
He still has exceptional potential (On FIFA 14) so you would be wise to consider it.
On a more serious note, it wasn't long ago the fans were threatening to attack him and some others because of the clubs failures. I don't know if he moved since then but if not, he'd probably be begging to move back.

Re: Would you have Pato back?
Our injury record this season demonstrates to me that absolutely no progress has been made by our club as far as prevention and rehabilitation goes. Whatever potential Pato might still have, all Milan can offer him is another 100 days on the sideline each year. We've done enough to ruin his body as it is.

Re: Would you have Pato back?
just interested to see what's the general consensus about him these days.
I haven't seen Pato play for quite sometime now , idk how he's been doing. I was hoping someone might tell me more .. Does he even play at Sao Paulo , is there any chance he gets back to Corinthians ? Is he done for European standards.
Anyway , i was thinking , if an attack of Pato(in good health Pato..) , El Shaarwy and Balotelli could work and how. I was thinking a counter reactive system .. Pato , Ses and Balo running like mad on the counter , i think it would be awesome and would fit Pato's play . Ses on the left , Pato on the right and Balo in the middle. I would be willing to see that , personally , if only for it to fail.

Re: Would you have Pato back?
Pato on the right, didn't he ask to be deployed centrally after being played on the wing? I rather not have him back. Injuries aside, I felt he was never close to being a complete player...he had some magical moments, but he didn't offer enough in terms of team play. Poor decision making/passing and it doesn't help that he isn't able to stay healthy. Outside of being able to get him for an discounted price, I think it would be best to not have him back in Milan.

He did yes. You're also right about the rest. Anyway , like i said , just wanted to read what everyone thought about him these days , i am probably of the same mind that he shouldn't return if he hasn't overcome his injury issues.
And even then , i don't think he would be a right addition to this current format .. Is there anyone though , who has seen him play recently , tell us how he's been doing? Ganso maybe?
It's really sad Pato has fallen to this state , almost written off , i would like to see him make a comeback , even if it's not meant to be at Milan .

Re: Would you have Pato back?
I'd take him back. Even though I know it would be a bad decision for Milan and Pato. But I always had a soft spot for him. Despite all the troubles he has had, I still believe in him. Van Persie was in a similar situation for a very long period but he got through and went on to become one of the best in his position. I really hope Pato can do the same. For Milan or elsewhere. We all know he has the potential, just needs some good luck on his side (or even some less bad luck would do).

Re: Would you have Pato back?
quite honestly, I would take him back, but only if we got him for free after his contract ends in a couple of years. He flopped at Corinthians and is now at Sao Paulo, where he is playing well, mainly because he is playing in a role where he has complete freedom as a SS.It's a bit early to say he is back though, everyone is waiting for more games to see if he can consistently play well as he has done in this start of the season... the main problem we had with him is gone, he simply isnt getting injured at all.He got injured once at corinthians, stopped for a month, but that was it.Dante wrote:He did yes. Re: Would you have Pato back?
that's so good to read. Thanks Ganso. Well , idk how it will turn out with Pato but i still like the dude , i wish him the best .
Maybe one day , who knows . For me Pato can always make a solid comeback to the big stage , even if it's not meant to be at Milan. It could be nice though , i think , to have Pato back injury free one day. Reading he has left his injuries behind him is a big relief.
