Re: El shaarawy- Milan
Why is SES being compared with Cr7?
Yes, he seems to have all the fast paced dribbling tricks, flicks and shots such as him, but as of now, he already seems like a more complete player then him.
-Cr7 prefers to use power in his shots while SES has shown this, but uses curling shots with finnesse whereas CR doesn't exactly do that.
- SES can link up, play make, send scintillating through balls and has superior vision to the individualistic CR7.
He has it all!
The only thing left is to ensure he gets the best development and treatment to bring out his potential.

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
This guy is crazily overhyped ... he didnt prove anything yet ... even comparing his individual skills with Ronaldo's is way too early ...

To be realistic
El Shaarawy will never be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo
But hey, I hope i'm wrong

Il faraone's a stud. Do you guys think Allegri will use him a lot? do you think it would have been better for his development if he had been loaned out? Milans attack will be the toughest in Italy to break into and I hope he gets to play.

Some trivia : El Shaarawy and I share the same first name lolz
Looks very promising, i may be mistaken but it look like he gave Nesta a torrid time on the training ground.. he seems to to be able to dribble with both feet.. a handy ability.

Cristiano is faster, stronger, better endurance, better heading ability, hotter girlfriend, better attacking instincts, assists and scores more
I'm hoping for the best for El Shaarawy but some people just can't comprehend the phenomenon that is Cristiano Ronaldo and that extremely rare caliber of player that he is.

He is 18 guys, there is no need to compare him to C. Ronaldo, let him develop and grow into whatever player he is destined to be.

words of wisdom have been said here, let the guy grow to be the player he is to be, its a bit naive to already comare him to CR7, and a lot stupid to claim he is more complete, when he is yet to play his first match with Milan.

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
As you can see in my sig, he has been good in training.
Really quick on the ball and has matured a lot as a footballer compared to other 18 and 19 year old Serie A footballers.
I just hope we don't loan him out, youngsters rarely come through Milan and hold down a place and I would like El Shaarawy to finally break the trend

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
Ibrahimovic out for a month.
Inzaghi injured for an unknown while.
Robinho relieved of pain and injury but by no means match-fit.
Cassano and Pato the only options up front.
And on the bench, there will only be one attacker: Stephan El-goddamn-Shaarawy.
I would kill to see some serious action from the boy, even a start is more or less probable at this point.
What if he really becomes our new Kaka? The offensive monster who runs at defenders with searing pace and chooses to either pass, dribble or shoot only a centimeter left to collide with the oposition's defender?
On Sunday, despite Cassano's great performances in Serie-A, I wanna see the following formation:

El Shaarawy as a second striker in this formation looks interesting, would also like to see what Aquilani is made of in the terquartista position. Wonder if pato and El shaarawys similar style of play will conflic with each other?...

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
hope el sharawwy get plenty of chance. i wouldnt wish to see milan forking out 10 million for the half of the rights of el sharrawwy going to complete waste.
our forwards are injured, plus we have CL and tough serie a fixtures, and while our main forwards are in treatment table hope he gets to play plenty. i have a really good feeling he would do vvery well.

Put Il Faraone on the left side of that formation and you got a pretty good lineup
Who are we facing anyway?

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
What happened to Pato needing to play off a target man, Iras? Sure we don't have many other options, but playing Stephan as an SS would leave Pato just as isolated (and ineffective) as he was vs Barca when Cassano came off. If your two choices were made, Stephan would have to play a lot closer to Pato. So many times against Barca, Pato would receive the ball and look to play someone and no one would be around him. El Shaarawy should be that man around him. Always following him, but getting into good positions like he knows how to at the same time. Other than that, we could try him as the treq. with Pato and Cassano up front or just Cassano and Pato up front. I would like Stephan to play this game though, as two quick strikers will be priceless against a three man defense.

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
If we are truly left with only Pato, Cassano and el Shaarawy as the available strikers then I'd definitely give him game time at some point. Whether he starts or not would depend on the fitness of Cassano, though I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Emanuelson in a more withdrawn role whilst other substitutes simply see out the game and rotate our midfield. At the very least, though I'm merely guessing who the available squad will consist of, that would be my prediction. I'd play him though, being fearless

Re: El shaarawy- Milan
El Shaarawy is far and away most effective on the left side of the field since his a lot of his attacking play comes from cutting in and finesse passes and shots.
Playing him down the middle is somewhat a risk since he is vulnerable to tackles from 360 degrees around whereas on the side of the pitch he can play his own game.

the season is still fresh and young, ad if we are to lose points I would prefer to lose them at this stage, as long as we are experimenting and trying new faces in different positions.
