lol are you spanking juventus fans?
imo, medias wull lie to them till the last minute, they can offer the whole 70M they have, they still wont sign him.
A little bit.... And I like Juve. But they need to go after players they can get and stop competing with the likes of Madrid, Barca, man u, etc. Not only are they not outbidding in terms of wages and transfer fee, they are also extremely vocal about their pursuits, which just makes them look bad when they fail.
Need to get the cache back before you can act elite.

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
Or get back a man like Luciano Moggi (note, someone like him. Not necessarily bring back the man himself). They seriously need a man of his understanding of football and the politics surrounding it. And in all honesty, a Moggi Juventus would not have mixed matters in tossing out 45 million for Aguero and paying his wages.

Ahh Moggi. 3.75M for Zidane turned into 75M from Real Madrid.
Used the 75M to purchase Buffon, Nedved, Thuram.
What a man.
Mutu on free transfer, 3.5M for Davids, scouted Cannavaro, Ibrahimovic, Henry, etc.
We NEED him back. Quality post Doc, glad you can look past accusations and respect him for his brilliance.

I have my reservations on his ethical practices but that's a totally and quite unnecessary discussion. The man (Moggi) in all intense and purposes knows his football better than a lot of guys currently running the top clubs around Europe. I have total respect for him when it comes to that. To me, he has been Juventus' biggest lose.
I stand by my statement, if Moggi were still running the transfer scene at Juventus, the discussion would have been totally different with regards to Aguero. He knew talent and how to spot it for cheap but he also knew that when you need quality now, you're gonna have to spend big. Basically, he knew what he was doing.

Which is why I don't want aguero to come. If he's the same as benz then he will have the same problems in madrid. Not to mention fans booing him because hes a pathetico player atm.The Madrid One wrote:sergio aguero will stab higuain in the heart and put him in his grave then bury him 6 feet underground if he comes to real madrid. i dont see bnz leaving no matter what at this point

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
mourinho said benzema and higuain were non transferable, one of the things that really hype this idea of agueo coming is the huge media buzz and his current form.
the majority will tip him to become the worlds best and way better than benz or higuain, will that be enough to displace one of our strikers?
apperently.. oh yes

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
what majority?
do you know that the trail of info linking aguero and coentrao to us started way back in november-december from the same source (at least from my account)?
nothing to do with media buzz, they only picked up late

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
I have felt Aguero was coming for a while now. There were reports months ago Aguero was coming here. Plus Diego Maradona said so.
I don't care about Athletico. If he comes here I will be happy. He's a big time player. A guy we need up the middle.

I think they have different mentalities, to the advantage of Kun. Also, the only place I'd expect him to receive jeers is at the Calderon.

Kun clearly doesn't care about Atletico either, considering the circumstances at the moment. The fans have already protested the potential sale (as well as the sale of De Gea), so imagine the impressions formed when he dons the white.

You can't believe everything Mourinho says to be true and unbreakable.
From what I've read throughout the summer, statements have been worded so that almost nothing is ruled out for the future.

I lol-ed at that....... your avatar seems very annoying, that is from my personal point of view, maybe its just cos we've been at the odds ever since the Aguero mayhem started, every time I see your avatar, I get upset for no reason

oh yeah right, if I were you, I'd pray Juve doesn't get their offer accepted first, do you think we are stupid, I can bet with you that we've already agreed personal terms with Kun already as reports claim and only need Atletico to accept the bid. Kun's agents themselves have said we been in talks with Kun and he would be happy to join us.
I don't think we'd be in this game at all knowing very well Kun wants Madrid and would not join us or we were up against the likes of Real, Chelsea and Man City. I think we've worked something out already so you can laugh all you want about how we have no chance but we will see which club will have the last laugh....

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
even if atletico accepts the offer, i dont believe that will be enough. the player will make you wait. it will come down to what we do, whether we activate the clause, which i think we will.
when you go to sign a player, you work your angle without worrying about the rest. And agents will never tell you how far they are with other parties, you do your thing and you hope for the best.

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
Elmystique.... If it was Juve that aguero wanted, this transaction would be done already. Atleti wants max money, which Juve isn't offering, and aguero is not pressuring Atleti on this point, since it's Madrid he wants.
I've watched Juve's transfer strategy and handling for a while. I hate to say it... But it's almost become amateurish with recent management.
I was a big Juve and Platini fan back in the day. still like you guys.

Re: Sergio Aguero Discussion
Sooooooo EC called the transfer of Coentrao a LONG time ago, with insistence, i thought it was a joke because of marcelo etc...
regardless pf where he will play, they were right. EC knows its stuff. imo, same thing is happening with Aguero, and it's all after july 1st
