Argentina striker Aguero, 31,Inside the 77th minute, Aguero was pictured walking around with a discomfort in his right leg following a challenge on him by Chelsea's Reece James. He was subsequently replaced with Gabriel Jesus and immediately headed straight to the dressing room.

It is not clear what the alleged problem is that Aguero is struggling with but the fact that Scaloni expects the striker to be involved with Argentina next month implies it is not too serious.

But the immediate concern will be for Manchester City fans.

Overall, Aguero has continued his prodigious eight-plus years in English football in the current campaign - who missed five games last season with a groin problem - would be a worry for City given he has scored 13 goals in 16 games this season.

Hopefully not too lengthy if it is somewhat serious. City can be fine without him for a few weeks but not too long. Jesus can still get a goal here and there
